3 Bonus Ways To Generate Leads On LinkedIn
2026/10/26
When people ask me how I generate leads on LinkedIn, they often expect me to talk about searching for prospects and sending connection requests. In this episode, I’m covering three other ways I use LinkedIn to find people who have already engaged with my content. I’ll walk you through how I use polls in relevant LinkedIn groups, review who voted, and connect with people who fit my ideal client or business ally profile. I’ll also explain how I browse my LinkedIn newsletter subscribers and reach out to people I’m not connected with yet. Finally, I’ll show you how I follow up with first-degree connections who vote in polls on my personal profile. Because we’re already connected, I can reference the poll in a direct message and use it as a natural way to restart a conversation. These are three activities you can work into your weekly LinkedIn routine. Listen in for the steps I use and examples of the short, personalized messages I send. Optimize Your Profile Free Guide: I’ve also put together a step-by-step guide to optimizing your LinkedIn profile. You can download it using the link in this episode’s description. https://www.thetimetogrow.com/ecsoptimizeyourprofile
Who You Should Connect With On LinkeddIn
2026/10/19
Are you connecting with the RIGHT people on LinkedIn, or just anyone and everyone? There is a BIG difference between growing your network and growing your network with intention. In this episode, I break down the 2 types of people you should be connecting with on LinkedIn to build meaningful relationships and create more opportunities for your business. 1. Your Ideal Clients Use LinkedIn's search engine to find people based on their professional titles, job roles, or industries. Focus on 2nd-degree connections who fit your ideal client profile. And here's an important tip: If you don't personally know them, you don't need to add a connection note. Simply click Connect, then Send without a note. 2. People LinkedIn Recommends to You Head over to the My Network section of LinkedIn.You'll find suggested connections based on your recent activity, shared professional interests, and other relevant factors. These are additional opportunities to expand your network with people who may share similar business interests or become valuable professional relationships. Here's the biggest takeaway: Stop connecting randomly and start connecting intentionally. Not every connection needs to be a potential client, but every connection should have a purpose. Some will become clients. Some will become referral partners. Some will become strategic collaborators. And others will simply become valuable relationships within your professional network. The goal isn't just to grow your connection count. The goal is to grow a network that creates conversations, builds trust, and opens doors to new opportunities. 3 Things That Could Get You in Trouble on LinkedIn
2026/10/12
You could be putting your LinkedIn account at risk without even realizing it. Some LinkedIn strategies may seem like shortcuts to more engagement, connections, and conversations, but they could violate LinkedIn’s User Agreement. In this episode, I break down three things you need to be aware of: Participating in engagement pods designed to manufacture inauthentic likes, comments, and engagement. Using automated software to scrape LinkedIn data or automatically send connection requests and messages on your behalf. Giving an executive assistant or VA access to your personal LinkedIn account so they can act as you, connecting and messaging people as if they were you. LinkedIn is built around authentic, person-to-person interaction. The more you try to automate, manipulate, or outsource that human interaction, the more risk you potentially create for your account and your reputation. There are no shortcuts to building genuine relationships. Free LinkedIn Sales Workshop: https://www.thetimetogrow.com/YourLinkedInSalesSystem

Updates To Your LinkedIn Profile You Need To Know About
2026/10/05
LinkedIn just made a few profile updates that you should know about. In this episode, I’m breaking down two changes that can make your profile easier to manage and more strategic. First, the “Add Profile Section” area has been simplified. Instead of clicking through multiple dropdown menus, everything you can add to your profile is now displayed in one easy, scrollable box. Just find what you want and click the plus sign. But the second update is the one I think more people should pay attention to. Your Activity section doesn’t have to be random. You can choose what type of content people see when they visit your profile, including your posts, newsletters, and videos. That means you can intentionally highlight the content that best represents your expertise and provides the most value to your ideal audience. And you can change it whenever your content strategy or priorities change. Your LinkedIn profile isn’t something you optimize once and forget about. It should continue to evolve with you and your business. Don't forget to sign up for my FREE LinkedIn Sales Workshop:  https://www.thetimetogrow.com/YourLinkedInSalesSystem
The #1 Decentralized Finance Coach In The World
2026/10/02
Vadim Voss is the founder of Next Level DeFi, where he's personally coached over 440 students to earn income from decentralized finance without gambling on tokens. His path there was expensive. Vadim moved from Belarus to Brooklyn at 11 with $100 in his pocket, built businesses across four countries, then lost nearly everything twice: once to a bank that used his deposits to bail itself out, and once to a crypto team that rugged and walked off with his funds. Both failures taught him the same lesson. If you don't hold the keys, you don't own the money. Today he teaches regular people to become the house instead of the gambler: providing liquidity into trustworthy DEXes, collecting fees on the traders' activity, and earning returns that run well ahead of the bank. His HOUSE Method™ has one filter for every move: it all works if you work it, as long as the numbers make sense. Your 3 Step LinkedIn Process
2026/09/28
LinkedIn doesn’t need to feel complicated, overwhelming, or take hours out of your day to produce meaningful results. In this episode, I’m breaking down my simple 3-step LinkedIn process designed to help you grow the right network, start more meaningful conversations, build your authority, and create more opportunities for your business. It starts with connecting with 15 ideal people per day. Instead of randomly growing your network, you want to intentionally connect with the people who align with your business, your audience, and your goals. Next, reach out to 5 people per day through LinkedIn DMs. This isn’t about pitching or selling. It’s about starting genuine conversations, building relationships, and creating opportunities to take those conversations to the next level. Finally, create 3 pieces of thought-leadership content each week. Your content should demonstrate your expertise, educate your audience, build trust, and keep you top of mind with the people you want to reach. Connect. Converse. Create. When you consistently focus on these three simple activities, LinkedIn becomes much easier to manage and much more intentional. The Questions That Change Everything
2026/09/24
About Maria Vorovich Maria Vorovich is the co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer of GoodQues, the “anti-research” research company she launched in 2019 to rid market research of its biggest blind spot: a lack of creativity. Under her leadership, GoodQues has doubled revenue year over year for three consecutive years, earned a spot on Inc. Magazine’s list of America’s fastest-growing companies (2023), and was named a top global market research firm by StartupPill (2020, 2021), all while partnering with Fortune 500 brands including P&G, PepsiCo, Adobe, and Pernod Ricard. Maria has redefined her own role from standard CSO to “Data Storyteller,” replacing the industry’s 100-page decks with insights that are vivid, action-oriented, and built to be shared across an entire organization. An early adopter of AI in market research, Maria has integrated machine superpowers into every stage of GoodQues' process. This includes methodology development and data analysis to the outputs themselves, which allow for creative and unexpected deliverables like podcasts and cinematic highlight reels, instead of the industry standard 100-page decks."She has become a sought-after voice on the future of AI in research, speaking at SXSW, lecturing at Columbia, and contributing editorially on where the industry goes next. Before GoodQues, she honed her craft at Grey and as Chief Strategy Officer at Air Paris, launching and repositioning brands such as CoverGirl, Marriott, Kiehl’s, and McCormick, work recognized by Effie, Cannes Lions, and Clio awards. A pioneer of human-centric research design (from in-survey meditation to moderator casting), she continues to push the field toward work that is both more dynamic and rigorous. About Holland Martini Holland Martini is the co-founder and Chief Insights Officer of GoodQues, where she has built a career proving that data, applied creatively, can grow companies and move culture. A pioneer in fusing empathetic methodology with emerging technology, Holland was among the first in her field to put AI to practical use. Since 2020, she has architected GoodQues' breakthrough tool "smart qual," which blends human and machine analysis, and AI-driven consumer personas. Her early, hands-on work building these tools has made her a recognized thought leader on applied AI in insights. She has been the go-to insights consultant for brands including Pfizer, McCormick, and AARP, and has evolved her own role from Chief Data Analyst into the “Voice of the Consumer,” ensuring every output helps brands connect more meaningfully with the people they serve. Her work and perspective have been featured across Inc., Adweek, Business Insider, and SXSW. Outside the boardroom, Holland is a seven-time global marathon runner immersed in NYC’s international running community, and a part-time welder specializing in ceramic and wrought-iron design. A Hidden Way To Generate Leads and Sales On LinkedIn
2026/09/21
One of the best ways to generate leads on LinkedIn is probably a feature you’re not using enough. Inside the “My Network” section, LinkedIn has a “Catch Up” feature that gives you daily opportunities to reconnect and nurture relationships within your network. You can congratulate someone on a new job, recognize a work anniversary, or wish them a happy birthday. But here’s the key: Just send the generic message LinkedIn suggests. These simple touchpoints allow you to stay top of mind, strengthen relationships, and reopen conversations with people you may not have spoken to in months or even years. And sometimes, one simple message can lead to a conversation, a call, and eventually a new client. The Most Important Part of LinkedIn That You Need to Start With
2026/09/14
You can have the best LinkedIn strategy in the world, but if your profile isn't optimized, you're sending people to the wrong destination.   Before you post more content, send more connection requests, or try to generate more leads, you need to start with the most important part of LinkedIn:   Your profile.   Think of your profile as your digital storefront. When someone lands there, they should immediately understand what you do, who you help, and why they should connect with you.   Here are the four areas I recommend optimizing first: Your Background BannerClearly communicate what you do and who you do it for. Don't waste this valuable space with a generic image. Your HeadlineInclude specific keywords your ideal clients are searching for, along with a professional job title that establishes what you do. Your About SectionWrite it in the first person, include a clear mission statement, highlight 15 relevant business skills, and finish with a specific call to action. Your Featured SectionGive people ways to take the next step offline. I use mine to feature my business website, our scorecard assessment as a lead magnet, and my LinkedIn newsletter, which includes clickable links that bring readers into my ecosystem.   Your LinkedIn profile shouldn't just tell people who you are.   It should show the right people how you can help them and what they should do next. The #1 Speaker Coach In The World!
2026/09/10
About Mark: They call me the Event Maestro. Here's why that matters to you.Your last event was a success. Yet, you left a fortune on the table. The feedback was great. The room was full. And still — the mission didn't accelerate the way it could have. Not because the event failed. Because no one showed you what the room was actually capable of. For one brief window, you had your investors, donors, board members, team and community leaders in a single space. Most leaders use that moment to share updates and deepen connections. The “Event Maestro” uses that moment to activate these stakeholders. Investors who came to observe - write a big check. Donors who increase their giving without being asked. Board members who become more cooperative. Sponsors who witnessed your culture and expanded their commitment on the spot. That's not a better agenda. That's a gathering engineered to turn your mission into a movement. For 30 years, I've been in the business of turning audiences into believers — and believers into buyers.I've strategized 900+ events over three decades. I help Impact CEOs activate stakeholder engagement through immersive experiences that don't just captivate rooms — they move people to act, lead and invest. As Co-Founder of BigImpactHQ, my wife Shannon and I have trained over 3,000 leaders to harness the power of speaking and live events. Our "Speak Your Path to Cash" System has generated more than $150M in revenue for our clients and landed them on stages most people only dream about — Tony Robbins, TED Talks, CNN, The View, Brendan Burchard, Mama Gena, and more. Before BigImpactHQ, I spent years as a Senior Branding Strategist for Clear Channel, writing 1,100+ radio ads and campaigns for Porsche, Harley-Davidson, AFLAC, and Marriott. That background wired me to think in messages that cut through noise and land with precision. I've shared stages with Jack Canfield, Robert Kiyosaki, Les Brown, and others — not just because I'm a good speaker, but because I understand the science of influence and the art of transformation. My work sits at the intersection of conscious leadership, transformational influence, and the inner game of business success. I help companies live from their higher purpose, build conscious cultures, and follow the principles of Conscious Capitalism — because mission-driven businesses outperform, period. How To Create More Engagement On LinkedIn & A New Feature
2026/09/07
LinkedIn engagement is changing, and simply getting more likes and comments isn’t the goal anymore. Some of LinkedIn’s latest updates are putting more emphasis on quality, credibility, and meaningful interaction. Comment impressions now show how much visibility your comments are creating. Generic comments like “Great post!” and “Couldn’t agree more!” aren’t enough. And when someone discovers you through a comment, your profile needs to prove your expertise through your content, recommendations, Featured section, newsletter, and results. The lesson? Don’t engage just to be seen. Engage to create conversations with the right people. Because visibility gets attention. Conversations create opportunities.
