They persevered. They cared about truth. They endured hardship in Jesus' name. But underneath all that activity, something had shifted. In Week 2, Many Things, Kevin Syes takes us to the familiar story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38–42. Martha is busy serving Jesus. She's doing something good—something necessary. But she's also distracted, worried, anxious and pulled in every direction. Meanwhile, Mary simply sits at the feet of Jesus. Jesus doesn't tell Martha that serving doesn't matter.
