This Episode is an act of pure Grace ! In May 2023 , a group of artists and spiritual seekers were gathered on a beach in Anatolia -Turkey celebrating the present moment ...when I suddenly felt the unstoppable urge to make this recording . I implored a talented Sufi musician to please improvise a piece while our dazzling Iranian poet would read Rumi in its original language : Farsi . It is absolutely electrifying to listen to poetry sounds exactly as the Poet intended. It's a direct transmission from heart to heart . There is no need to understand it with logic, the seduction is immediate ! As Rumi meant it to be . What an honour to have this opportunity to receive Rumi with the original vibration and rhythm of his own language , untainted by translations. The reading is an extract from the beginning of the first book of Rumi's MASNAVI . The Masnavi is comprised of 6 books, and is considered the last and most important composition of Rumi. His legacy to the lineage of the Whirling Dervishes. He started writing it when he was 54 years old while living in Anatolia, and continued until his death 12 years later on 17 December 1273, leaving the last book unfinished. The Masnavi contemplates the Longing and the Emptiness that vibrates the fullness of our lives and the density of our bodies . I managed to catch the fabulous Baba Dez for an intimate chat, as he was visiting Cape Town in February this year. I was interested in hearing his reflections on my personal enquiry about protecting the Dharma from phoney teachers, or trust that the Dharma can protect itself - it's the Dharma after all !  His response is very simple and on point and from here he expands on the structure of his love-child :ISTA (International School of Temple Arts) that he founded in 1985 and that has now grown into a world wide organism (not an organisation !) that counts over 60 faculty teachers and has a trainings every week in almost every country of the World. Being in the presence of this 66yrs old man always fills me with incredible peace, deep acceptance and the willingness to stretch my ability to Love. Especially when it's challenging. Although he is often criticised and judged, I am always humbled by his capacity to not respond with anger and resentment. To the contrary: he still loves relentlessly... even the ones that judge him! I bow. Low. And learn important lessons from this deeply-charismatic-sexy-wise-elder. Over and over. And here comes his mantra : " Make sure your sex, your money and your power are always serving Love. Stay aware, present and absolutely out of control ! Here is a conversation that got me thinking for days...and still is. 19 yrs old Ruben, shares with me his relationship status with other 5...a "Polyamory Family" as they like to call themselves, or Sexagon for fun ;) Whaaaat? You don't have sex with each others? Aren't you victims of your hormones? In my 20' I was all sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. My sexuality was on fire. It was explosive and unstoppable. Wild, promiscuous and ..hem...experimental? To my surprise his answer is No. Not at all. Their sexuality if fluid and it's not overpowering. The focus of their relating is not on sex but on the willingness to evolve and grow. To help each other stand in the fire of the big, hard emotions and keep breathing. Wow! This is advanced! These young lovers are practicing presence, interconnectedness and interdependence .They are practicing accountability in their partaking of the Whole. They are helping each other in overcoming the emotional mountain of growing up. They are taking responsibility. Listening to Ruben sharing so honestly and deeply cracks my heart wide open. I feel inspired by this generational "upgrade". Suddenly I see the flowering and the purpose of my generational struggles. Even when It felt messy and we felt defeated...I see now that it was not for nothing. l look in this young man eyes and i see that the Golden Age is finally near. Oh so very near ! I am no longer worried about the future of the planet. I  willingly put it in their hands (and hearts) and i am ready to witness the Unimaginable ....Sexagon and beyond! This year i escaped the south african winter and travelled to tropical Bali for 4 months . there i lived in the most exciting home of my life ! A Joglo called Jazmin. This episode is a conversation with Alejandra Cisneros, one of the most extravagant and inspiring  human being i have ever met,  also the architect that envision this jewel of living.
