Episode 15: Ride The Wave
2023/08/11
A quick update on pre-season scouting, some harsh reviews on some technology, and a somewhat aggressive motivational speech? Maybe rant is a better term…

In today’s episode Jake details an excerpt he has written about the 1959 earthquake in Montana known as the “Night of Terror”. Episode 13: New Beginnings
2023/06/28
Welcome back! The show must go on (with a new format of course.) And we are back and better than ever before! In this episode Jake talks about the new structure of the podcast moving forward, as well as getting scoped, catching a 94 pound paddlefish, and sitting in a tree for 12 hours in 100 degree heat. Listen in to enjoy the first episode of the revamped Adahy Adventures Podcast. Glad to have you back!
Winter Blues
2021/12/31
On today’s episode I talk about some prospective changes coming for Montana’s archery elk hunting season. Next, I discuss a problem that many people share in experience. Seasonal Affective Disorder. Or as many people refer to it as seasonal depression. I also discuss different activities, and methods you can partake in to fill the gap during the cold, and dark winter days.
Here’s Where We’re At Part 2
2021/12/18
Doing my best to explain the hiatus. An open and honest attempt to take a dive into mental health, and how it impacts our everyday lives. Part 1 of a 2 part series. This show will also vaguely discuss how things will look for Adahy Adventures moving forward in the future.

Missing 411
2021/04/14
In this weeks episode Jake, Ethan, and Kendall discuss the documentary Missing 411 The Hunted. Despite Kendall not watching the right one we got the message across. Hunters have been going missing for years, and although there isn’t a working number of just how many are missing the problem still exists, and is more prevalent than ever. Wild theory’s have been growing in popularity as even coroners have failed to determine the exact cause of death in certain cases. Listen in as we discuss our thoughts and feelings on the issue at hand.
4-7-2021 Spring Action with Ethan Anderson, Matt Lackman, and Kendall Makelky
2021/04/07
In this episode we cover all of the upcoming Spring events we have in the works. Starting with some turkey hunting basics we discuss what tactics will help Matt, and I have the best chance at harvesting a turkey this April. We then discuss the ins and outs of black bear hunting, and conservation as a whole. With our lakes clear of ice the bass bite has been good as well as other fishing stories told. Matt, and Ethan are introduced to Adahy nation in the podcast, so be sure to tune in!
3-4-2021 Elk Hunting with Branden Stevens Part 2
2021/03/04
Part 2 of our discussion with Branden Stevens and his successful 2020 bull elk hunt. In this episode we go through page after page of Branden’s own journaled first hand account of what ended up being a 20+ day hunt. Dissecting each individual day down to the most minuet details from the temperature of each day, to the amount of miles hiked per day. More elk encounters than most people might see in their lifetime, all in the span of 2 weeks.
