Keddie, California, a town that hosted a population of less than 100 people, would be devastated in the spring of 1981 when the brutal murders of three individuals and the abduction of a fourth would occur at the Keddie Resort’s Cabin 28. On April 12th, 1981, 14 year old Sheila Sharp, walked in the front door of the small cabin, and was met with the bound, bloodied bodies of her mother, her brother and her brother's friend, her only sister Tina, was missing. The violent murders and the abduction of Tina Sharp would set off an unfortunately confusing  investigation that is still ongoing. On Jan. 8, 2021, 26 year old Terron Evans was found dead in the home of his girlfriend, Crystal Kipp Hamilton. His official cause of death, a heart attack caused by overdose on a commonly prescribed antidepressant. However Jennifer Baxtron, Terron’s mother and a BLM activist in Potstand NY, has another theory, she believes her son was killed in an effort to stifle the movement's progress, especially in regards to the treatment and deaths of two other individuals. In 1987, Richard Lee McNair committed a murder and wounded another man in a failed robbery. He is currently serving two life sentences for these crimes, not to mention, his successful escapes from prison. McNair managed to escape on three separate occasions from three different institutions. One time using lip balm! Thirty-one year old Matthew Ryan Stewart was a devoted family man, who was born and raised in Mooresville, NC. He proudly graduated from Mooresville High School and Mitchell Community College. As an adult, Matt dedicated himself to a career in nursing. His co-workers remember his bright spirit, diligent work ethic, and playful nature. Last October a 25-year-old, North Carolina woman named Shanquella Robinson went on a trip to Cabo Mexico with a group of six people she called ‘friends’. A day later she is found dead in the villa the group rented, with the ‘friends’ telling Robinson’s family that Shanquella died of alcohol poisoning, although the death certificate read very differently. It stated Shanquella suffered a spinal cord injury, and not only that, a video of Shanquella being violently assaulted was also discovered. But so far the US and Mexican governments have yet to make an arrest. Let’s see if we can figure out why.
