Another season of The Hills here and gone. The Double Loser podcast is officially half way through recapping The Hills and have a fun recap this week. We crown this season's King of The Hills and it will leave you surprised (trust us). We lament that these final episodes were very repetitive to themes we've seen all season so it was a lot of the same but different. LC goes on a platonic date, Audrina goes on "not a date date" and Spencer and Heidi are on a relationship vacation. It's easy to tell that all of our relationships are shaken entering season 4. We get a trip to Vegas and Whitney excels at her new job but not without her sidekick Lauren Conrad who is always by her side.  We are replaying our Season 1 Episode 1 recap next week for a little break and will be right back with a new episode 9/24 for you! Pack your couture sequined tops, y'all, this week we're going to Paris!! This week, Morg and Jo cover episodes 19-23 of The Hills season 3 and y'all need to rewatch, because the LITERAL SONGS ARE BACK, BABY (cue literal song titled Literal Songs We'll Never Take You For Granted Again)! Lauren and Whitney head to Paris, the place Lisa said would change everything. However, nothing seems to change. Like at all. Whitney continuing to do intern duties and the two girls have a late irresponsible night with some French boyzzz. Meanwhile, Spencer tries to win back Heidi which leads to a whole lot of awkardness that involves Heidi's parents. Lucky for you we have recapped Season 3 Episodes 14 through 18 of The Hills. These episodes we get to see our B-Listers of the show a lot more, Audrina, Justin Bobby, Brody and a NEW CHARACTER ALERT! We see a Halloween party full of sexy bug costumes, and need to research what was going on in 2008 making that a costume theme. Lauren Conrad goes through Brody's phone and finds all the girls he's been mackin' on since 2005. Not good. Morg and Jo are blasting through episodes 9-13 of The Hills season 3 this week. Lauren and Whitney have some big work events and, once again, exceed Teen Vogue's [questionable] expectations ('given a challenge, you rise!'). Justin Bobby stakes a claim on Audrina in a very Justin Bobby way (it's a tongue wag, y'all!! Put that back in your mouth, JB).  Morg and Jo are talking The Hills season 3, episodes 3 and 4 this week and there is A LOT. Like to start, Brody totally breaks the world record for the longest beach party and his finger, but who cares about that, we want to know how many days this event really was and how do we get invited? Heidi and Spencer take a cringey trip to see Heidi's parents, Justin Bobby burps and wears combat boots TO THE BEACH, and Spencer continues to questionably decorate instead of buying basics like, I don't know, FORKS AND CHAIRS. The Sprattdog and Heidi throw a housewarming party to die for, and Kim Kardashian shows up!!! Easter Egg spotted Heidi wearing the same inappropriate dress that caused a LA bro fight with her co-worker Max and Spencer in an earlier season. Somehow your hosts have a tangent on George Foreman and his 12 childer (seriously 12!!!). We discuss the hideous graffiti art that Spencer surprises Heidi with. What a week for The Hills. Whitney plays softball and Audrina's cap strikes again. Morg’s dream that Lauren and Whitney hang out comes true!  We are the Double Loser Podcast recapping old reality tv shows and are deeply committed to The Hills and the early 2000s right now. Your hosts Morg and Jo recap episodes 9 & 10 this week of season 2. Wouldn't you know it, it's New Years Eve again on The Hills (how is this day so important to this show?) and all the ladies have to get their hair done together. Heidi is definitely feeling the bond between Audrina and LC strengthen while her relationship with Spencer goes to the next level. Will they move in together? I think we all already know the answer to this question but fun to still ask it anyways. Spencer Pratt is dressed like a 1920's mobster and your hosts cannot stop laughing about it. We also celebrate Lauren Conrad's birthday these episodes and Spencer gives an unexpected toast, worth repeating word for word, which we do. And Morg has to eat crow because we thought Jen Bunny was gone for good but she comes back to make a scene at Heidi's work place and for the first time ever Heidi has work to do and can't talk long.
