Episode 62: Floating Head of Benrachett Inn
2026/07/21
This story is one of my favourites. Taken from Elliott O'Donnell's Scottish Ghost stories, published 1911. This collection of stories was gifted to me as a child and I still have them to this day. One that particularly scared me was the Floating Head of Benrachett Inn, so listen in as I tell you a tale that made the adolescent hair on the back of my neck stand on end.

Yes this week we are discussing the origin story of Annabelle the doll. Is she just a cute Raggedy Anne doll falsely imprisoned, or is she one of the worst demonic spirits to set foot on this earth? Listen in to find out.
