Noah's Complete Game, Jac's Ascension, Minor League Minute!
2026/08/21
This week, the guys discuss this team being the same old Royals. Starting to play better now that they're completely out of it, and showing they can compete next year... a tale as old as time. There are some highlights though, including Noah Cameron's CG shutout, Maikel and Vinnie igniting the offense, Jac being a legitimate threat behind Bob. Then we highlight Craig Kimbrel as an addition, Tony Gonsolin is signed for next year to address depth. And we end it with a minor league minute! With many Royals prospects flying up the rankings, and finally getting out of this rut they've been in the last few years. Of course we wrap it up with America's favorite segment: Drop the Ball.
Scratching Our Heads at the Deadline
2026/08/04
This week we discuss the Royals’ Trade Deadline, or rather, lack of trades that happened. We like what we got from the trades we made, but it seemed like they left some at the table. Lane Thomas, Bailey Falter, and Kris Bubic being the only subtractions means there’s a few impending free agents they didn’t take advantage of.  They were unwilling to move Seth Lugo and Michael Wacha to compete next year…Which we understand Wacha, but Lugo? Jackson plays devils’s advocate to see what could happen due to them keeping both arms. Overall, just an underwhelming deadline for a handful of reasons. Then we of course, end it with America's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
A Check-in at the All Star Break
2026/07/16
We're back with a new one after a brief hiatus. We're checking in at the ASG with the Royals, as they are in the middle of one of their worst seasons in memory. Especially given the expectations. Bobby Witt Jr and Michael Wacha are the Royal All-Stars in 2026, and Jac Caglianone put on a respectable performance in the Home Run Derby. We have our thoughts from the first half, Carter and Cags ascension, and the 2026 MLB Draft, as there were some people not too happy with the Royals decisions, although we liked a couple things they did. Then we end it with America's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
A Royal-Rollercoaster Ride
2026/05/16
This week, we chat the Royals taking the first couple games of the series from Detroit, while Bobby Witt Jr. wore the superman cape with an inside the park home run to electrify the city. They weren't able to take the finale to really step on the throat though, and Matt discusses how this team hasn't shown they can do that when called upon. Michael Wacha has been incredible amongst an up and down season. As they just keep falling short: a dramatic moment, risky error, they keep drowning. We wonder how competitive this team can be if they're struggling against Chicago as well. Because you need to win the games you're supposed to win. Then we of course, end it with america's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
Slowly Fighting To Stay Afloat
2026/05/16
The Royals have strung a few wins together here to get back in the mix, but there was room for them to capitalize even more. We highlight how important the Detroit series is as the AL Central stays under .500 for the most part. Jac Caglianone is putting it together a bit more, Collins and Massey are filling in the margins, showing how much better this team can be from last season. Some injury updates with Estevez and Ragans, and we chat the new stadium for a second. Then we end with america's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
A Light at the End of the Tunnel for KC??
2026/04/30
This week, we break down the Royals completing their first sweep of the 2026 season (it's about time), they've won four straight, and the offense is finally starting to break out of the slumps of April. The new city connects have given the boys some power to win, starting with the guys at the bottom of the lineup stepping up. And we thing Bobby Witt Jr. is seconds from takeoff. The bullpen has been horrific, but we don't think they're utterly useless, as we think they were dealt a bad hand to start the season. No excuses, but you need to know why they are off to such a heinous start. New stadium has been announced! And we end it with America's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
2026 NFL Draft Recap for the Chiefs!
2026/04/30
This week, we see how the tables turned in the 2026 NFL draft. The Chiefs made some fun moves, trading up to get CB Mansoor Delane, sticking and picking to get Peter Woods, and added a much needed EDGE in R Mason Thomas. We break down every single pick for the Chiefs in this draft and don't skimp on the details. Put it on for a second, an hour, some time, and you will get a breakdown of each player selected by the Chiefs. Matt really likes the Emmett Johnson pick in the 5th, we see who they might have missed out on, and see how every single one of these picks is going to contribute in some way to another Chiefs championship.
Never Say It Can’t Get Worse…
2026/04/21
The worst record in Major League Baseball belongs to the Kansas City Royals. What a time to be alive in 2026. We chat the inconsistencies on this club and what the actual hell is going on. Salvador Perez seems to be clashing with leadership and that does not happen, the offense has been abysmal, some stars won’t produce, we keep losing to winning teams and so much more. Jac Caglianone is hitting but where’d the power go? These guys can pitch but you look at just about every other aspect and they are being let down. We break it all down, with Drop the Ball ending out the show.
2026 NFL Draft Spotlight!
2026/04/21
This week, the guys are back talking the NFL draft, specifically what the Chiefs have at their disposal. Matt breaks down who he thinks the Chiefs should pick with the #9 pick, the options they have, and how the board may fall. Jackson has a position that might surprise some Chiefs fans, as he thinks they might look for a weapon for Pat Mahomes to play with. There are a couple of guys that might fall, and the Chiefs are in a position to not mess this up. They need to capitalize on two firsts with Mahomes as this could be the last time that happens. Listen in!
Isbel=Bonds? As the Starters Stay Elite
2026/04/09
This week, the guys discuss the first week of the season, which has been half good/half bad. But no need to worry like those groups on twitter, we have a level head! We highlight the series against the Braves, Twins, and Brewers and see where the offense sputtered and the pitching shined. The Starting rotation has been nails to start the season, we have some bullpen outings that haven't been amazing. But, we have Kyle Isbel producing like Barry Bonds, Jac Caglianone has got off to a solid start, and Carter Jensen slept in. The bottom of the order is hitting when the top just cannot. It's Royals baseball, everyone. Then we end it with America's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
OPENING DAY 2026 IS HERE!
2026/03/26
This week, the Boys are back playing meaningful baseball! No more Cactus League, no more spring, and no more WBC, because we have the regular season right ahead of us! We chat the opening day roster, and how much it's going to change throughout the course of a season. So no need to freak out about it. Some questionable bullpen demotions, but we're sure that they will be up at some time during the season. We discuss the expectations for this club, what their ceiling/floor is, and what we can look to as needlemovers for the 2026 season. Everything and everything Royals is what we're about. Then we end it with america's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
Maikel WBC MVP! Salvy Adds to his Resume, with a Royal Flush in the WBC!
2026/03/19
This week on the show, we chat the outstanding performances from the WBC on the Royals. Starting with Maikel Garcia as the MVP of the whole tournament! Salvador Perez adds to his resume as Venezuela takes the crown for 2026! We also highlight Bobby Witt Jr. being a staple for team USA. Vinnie Pasquantino being the captain of Italy with Jac Caglianone by his side. The Royals young core showed out in the WBC. After, we touch on the rotation with some recent re-assignments being the writing on the wall for how it's going to shake out. We also see who's going to take that last bench spot, there have been some good performances in spring, but we choose who we would prefer. Then, of course, we end it with america's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
2026 NFL Free Agency is Underway!
2026/03/19
This week, we talk the Chiefs new additions in Free Agency. As they highlight Kenneth Walker to be the starting RB in the future. Khyiris Tonga, Alohi Gilman, Kader Kohou all are being added to this roster that lost a good amount of defensive starters the past couple years. So, they will be a welcome addition for sure. We talk what that means for the Chiefs moving forward and what else they need to do before training camp.
Royals are Winning the WBC (So Far)
2026/03/19
We talk the first week+ of the WBC and how the Royals are doing throughout the tournament.
WBC is Underway, As Starling Marte Heads to KC.
2026/03/07
This week, the guys talk the World Baseball Classic, and how awesome it is to see all the players rep their own countries. If you don't like the WBC, give it another shot! It is peak baseball as we know it! We discuss the Royals' own performances in the WBC so far, as they're just getting started. Carter Jensen is highlighted as one to look out for while he's one of the last of the core back at Spring Training in Surprise. Starling Marte is a Royal, as we look to see what he could do in a Royals uniform in 2026. Matt seems to like it a lot, as Jackson doesn't see it as moving the needle. We also highlight a couple guys for fans to take a look at as the stars are away at the WBC. And of course, we end it with America's favorite segment: Drop the Ball!
