Feeling Good Naked podcast - the WHY
2025/04/29
Welcome to the newly rebranded Feeling Good Naked podcast — same mission, new energy! Formerly known as Make Me Pretty, this show is all about supporting you in "feeling f@$&ing fabulous after 40." In this episode, I’m sharing why I decided to hijack my own podcast, the story behind the bold new name, and what you can expect moving forward. It’s time to strip away old expectations and step fully into your most empowered, authentic self.  We are challenging the traditional narrative around aging and exploring midlife as a powerful opportunity for reinvention. Instead of viewing this stage as a time of decline, we embrace it as a vibrant period for growth, transformation, and new beginnings. We dive into conversations about health at midlife and beyond. We explore the interconnected pillars of physical, mental, spiritual, and sexual well-being, discussing how each area evolves as we age — and how to nurture them for a vibrant, fulfilling life. Expect honest insights, expert advice, and practical strategies to help you thrive in every dimension of your health journey. *** www.feelinggoodnaked.com Instagram:   @feelinggoodnaked @katieallenpa Facebook: @feelinggoodnaked @katieallenpa *** This podcast and website represents the opinions of Katie Allen, PA-C and guests of  her show and website.  The content here should not be taken as medical advice.  The content here is for informational purposes only, and because each person is so unique, please consult your healthcare professional for any medical questions. Brachioplasty for "BAT WINGS"
2023/01/26
Brachioplasty for "Bat Wings" is hosted by  Katie Allen, PA-C.  Whether it is genetic misfortune or massive weight loss, if your upper arms have loose skin that wobbles, jiggles, wiggles or waves then you've probably heard of the term "Bat Wings." Unfortunately, exercise to the arms can improve muscle tone but it does not decrease the loose skin so individuals seek out ways to treat or disguise this tissue.  If enough tissue is involved, it can be difficult to find clothing that fits over the arm and is still the appropriate size for the rest of the upper body.  Attempting to cover the arms in the heat of the summer months is quite uncomfortable. There is a great deal of frustration for individuals. What are the options for loose skin to the upper arm? This episode discusses excess adipose tissue as well as skin laxity to the upper arm and what can me done about it. For a consult with the board certified plastic surgeon mentioned in this episode, Dr. Glen Walton, call 770-534-1856. . . Thank you for listening, subscribing, and REVIEWING the podcast episodes.
