Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 18), Forging Outwards
2022/01/29
Done with their stabilization of the town of Ramshackle and the surrounding region, our group of adventurers forges outwards, ready to continue their crusade! They were approached by a half-elf dressed warmly in a furred cloak and a feathered hat who hailed from a small village two weeks to the North, near the troubled Elven kingdoms of the Silvervales. Named Alros, he begged the group for aid in saving his village, as the livestock that keep them alive in these times of disarray are showing up dead, mutilated in horrific ways. People have been going missing as well, but strangely their bodies have not shown up.  In addition, While assembling a group to leave, they could not find Talo'Sír. Tryfa, after spending a few hours searching and finding little, decided to scry him. The spell worked, and in the gem atop her staff, Tryfa was shown a vision of Talo'Sír lying alone in a dark, lightless stone room, laden with moss and damp, his only companions the steady and slow drip of water from the ceiling to the floor and a thick metal band which kept him on a short chain embedded into the wall.  Tensions grow with a potential traitor in their midst and a friend in dire danger, as well as the threat to Alros's village. The world is now open for them to make what they wish out of it, as the campaign continues to grow larger than the scope of things they've seen thus far.
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 17), The Dangerous Dörvaan Depths (Part 4)
2021/11/07
In this episode, our heroes finally slay the last two infected Umberhulks in the ruins, giving the townspeople above the chance to explore them safely and make use of the bountiful machinery and resources. Our heroes shall return triumphantly to the surface, and in the next episode, their true adventure begins.
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 16), The Dangerous Dörvaan Depths (Part 3)
2021/09/12
In this episode, a new character is introduced: Herr Verdreckt, a doctor, of sorts, who caught up with the party in the smeltery and forge district. After some introduction and a few formalities, the group continues on again, looking for what remains of their quarry of infected Umberhulks, when, their quarry finds them first...
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 15), The Dangerous Dörvaan Depths (Part 2)
2021/08/21
INTRO OF EVERYONE DYING CAUSED BY EXTREMELY CURSED ART COURTESY OF t4tmatsuhana ON TIKTOK, MY PLAYERS HAVE STARTED THREATENING ME WITH COMMISSIONING CRINGE WHENEVER I MAKE NPCS THEY LIKE GET NEAR DEATH. In this short little episode, we get a second part of the venture within the Dörvaani ruins. Finishing the one who brought Tryfa's fiance to a dangerously injured state, they began hunting the second one in what may have once been a nearby marketplace. After the group settles the question of should we stay or should we go, Atla finishes the second Umberhulk and they prepare to explore the city to find its purpose, why it lies empty, and if possible, where the missing scouts went.
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 14), The Dangerous Dörvaan Depths (Part 1)
2021/08/07
In this episode, the party, back in real-time now, proceed to continue their exploration of the Dörvaani ruins beneath Ramshackle, stumbling into a battle with a fierce and nightmarish creature: An Umber Hulk infected with the Yellow Eyed Plague! Over the course of this episode, our heroes track it down and begin a fierce fight to bring it down, Tryfa's fiance hanging to life by a thread as she dangles from its clawed hands.  My players also take a break near the end to threaten me XD.
Plight Of Iadreth One Year Anniversary
2021/05/29
Today we do something a little bit different! Since it's roughly the 1 year anniversary of when this game started, this week I decided to let our heroes take a break from the usual strife and toil in order to goof off both in and out of character! We find our heroes in a little tavern that had just been restored in Ramshackle, shooting the stuff about old events, old friends, and experimenting to see what it feels like to be hit by a Guiding Bolt. This little batch of chaos may need a part two...
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 13), What's Next (Part 3, Feat. Dream Dive pt. 3)
2021/04/26
In this episode, after managing to get Talo'Sír's dream, and narrowly avoiding a fight with the man, the group set about actually working to get Ramshackle into shape, taking stock of what needs to be done and setting out. After barely managing to resolve a situation between two competing Smiths- which might not last as long as they'd hoped- the group descends into the Dwarven ruins below Ramshackle to see why their scouts haven't been returning.
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 12), Dream Dive (Part 2)
2021/04/03
Spending the first half of the evening doing some more (mostly) willing exchange of dreams through the flowers, the gang sets about figuring out how to unwillingly dose their Invader Paladin. After many failed shenanigans, they finally manage to slip a yellow flower into his drink during a spontaneous night of feast and drink. Next time, we'll probably see what it was Talo'Sír wanted to avoid sharing... WARNING: CONTAINS A BRIEF SCENE INVOLVING SOMEONE BURNING ALIVE FOR TEN MINUTES
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 11), What Next? (Feat. Dream Dive Part 1)
2021/03/28
In this episode, our heroes spare the defeated Tas'Nerâkh, letting her live to regain lost honor at a later time. A plan is put into place to attempt to introduce invaders to the civilians at Mazli, some of whom would come to settle here in Ramshackle, where they are as of currently. They also discuss parenting of the orphaned Invader, specifically who would take care of it, but are unable to make a clear choice. Matters thoroughly discussed, they decide to relax by summoning a bush of flowers which should probably be illegal and jumping into each other's most memorable and recurring dreams.... That may have been a mistake...  WARNING: CONTAINS DIVING INTO PEOPLE'S TRAUMATIC BACKSTORIES VIA DRUGS FOR S***S AND GIGGLES
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 10), A Spire To Siege (Part 3)
2021/03/14
In this episode, our heroes confront the mighty Tas'Nerâkh in her tower, moving up to the third floor. Tas'Nerâkh threatens the party with a massive deadly beast, but some quick thought from Apollo reduces the threat, banishing the creature to another plane. Chasing Tas'Nerâkh up to the roof of her tower, the fight begins, and it eventually comes down to the wire, with Apollo about to be hurled from the roof of the tower onto the jagged spikes below. Straldra manages to convince Tas'Nerâkh to lay down her arms in a sudden moment of powerful emotional appeal, and now comes the hardest part: deciding what to do with a high-ranking member of The Invader's forces. WARNING: CONTAINS EXCESSIVE HIGH ROLLS FROM OUR PLANAR SNIPER YET AGAIN, INCLUDING AN ATTACK WHICH ALMOST BECAME 4 CRITS
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 9), A Spire To Siege (Part 2)
2021/03/06
The party continues up the spire, finishing off the warriors on the first floor and making their way to the second, finding only a group of hardened Invader Blade-Weavers standing in their way.  In a moment of pure luck that could have only been divinely inspired, Atla takes aim with her gun and mortally wounds one, killing two others. Finishing off the last one, the group takes a moment to catch their breath and plan what to do next, observing all possible routes of entry. WARNING: CONTAINS THE FIRST PERSON TO MAKE ME ENFORCE KEEPING TRACK OF AMMUNITION
Plight Of Iadreth (Episode 8), A Spire To Siege (Part 1)
2021/02/20
Kicking down the door, our adventurers are greeted with a strange sight and sound: An Invader who can speak in Common. For Talo'Sir, who was confined with nothing better to do for a long period a while back, it makes sense for him to have picked up the language. For this newly met Invader, there is no reason for her to know Common. She ascends the steps to the next floor, leaving the party to handle six of her accomplices, whom the party eagerly begins the work of carving to pieces.  WARNING: CONTAINS AN ATTEMPT TO GET THE ENEMY TO AGREE TO A SMOKE SESH
