She interviews Detroit women from a wide variety of backgrounds and industries. Alexandria is the founder of Dama Detroit and is a former expat, language junkie, and traveller at heart. She brings her unique international background and life experiences to the table.

Monique started her creative agency @buzzfiles with the goal of creating better representation in the media. We spoke about why representation matters and how brands can do better.
She spilled all the details on how both brands and models can effectively collaborate (and what some could improve on). She also shares why rejection is such an important part of the entrepreneurial journey and how it should fuel growth.

Valentina’s inspirations for her brand are inspired both by her Albanian heritage and also by the strength and femininity of women. Valentina spoke about how to spark creativity and what to do when you’re caught in a rut.
We discussed building a brand and how to create a cohesive brand identity as well as why being resourceful will create long-term success. Valentina also gave great tips for brands and influencers alike on navigating the sometimes murky waters of influencer marketing.

Klaudia Jakubiak is a travel blogger, content creator, and creator of @thetravelcritic. On this week’s episode we spoke about what it was like growing up in an immigrant family and why it’s so important to her to stay connected to her roots.
Klaudia quit her corporate job and started a career as a travel blogger, but she’s still a huge advocate for transparency on social media. She spoke about her own experience with feeling misaligned and how entrepreneurship isn’t necessarily the journey for everyone.
She also gave inside tips and tricks on both budget travel and solo female travel- and why both are a lot more accessible than many people think. Klaudia believes that there are some major changes to come in the travel industry- especially regarding inclusivity.

Melissa Fradenburg is a wife, a mom of two, and a financial advisor at Pearl Planning who specializes in helping women figure out their finances at any stage in their life. She wants women to be less scared to ask for what they deserve and helps them to demystify the world of finance.
On this week’s episode we covered so many topics- from mom guilt to taking control of our own finances. Melissa wants women to understand that they have options- often a lot more than they think. She believes in having open and honest conversations to eliminate any shame or guilt around money.
Melissa left an unfulfilling corporate job in finance to raise her children and entered back into the workplace as a financial advisor with the goal to help other women in different stages of transition figure out how to maximize their investments and stay informed about their options.

As a wife, mom of two, entrepreneur and full-time doctor Fatima is open about the community around her that helps make it all happen, and how complete balance is a myth and why we all need to be more honest about it.

Christian Moon is a certified life coach, wife, mom of two, and the creator of the initiative “Ambitious with a Purpose.” As a young, single mom Christian struggled with the judgement of others and with finding her identity outside of motherhood. She seeks to help other women tune out the white noise and find their own niche.
Christian is also a big believer in reaching out for help when needed. Being vulnerable was especially hard for her after years of being a single mom, but she wants other women to be comfortable about opening up when they’re struggling.
We talked about the importance of finding a mentor and how to find inspiration in other’s success stories. Christian shared her favorite tips & tricks to balance it all, plan successfully and be productive.

Eden Gibbs is the founder and CEO of the marketing agency Eden Creative. Eden also works closely with Detroit Phoenix Center, an organization that aims to help youth and young adults experiencing homelessness.
On this week’s episode Eden shared her own experience with homelessness and what she wished other people understood about housing insecurity. Homelessness can look a lot different than what we generally expect.
Eden has had plenty of setbacks in her life, but instead of letting those hamper her success she has used them as her fuel to start her own business. Creative storytelling is the backbone of marketing for her and she shares some great tips for small businesses to get their unique story out there.

Their products, including their signature product ‘brow jam’, are created to give women a more natural and approachable look. In an industry that typically values youth and profit above all else, Wingme stands out with their commitment to giving back and to promoting wearable products for every woman.
They decided to start their own business after being inspired to give back to non-profits and their main causes are halting the practice of female genital mutilation and child marriage. Nadia and Fadia are committed to spreading awareness about these causes and donating a portion of the company’s profits to non-profit organizations that are on the ground making changes.
