This one has been on the cards for a long ol' time and can't be kicked down the road any longer! Chris and Nikki take on the discussion and ranking of Muse's 10 albums! Sixteen year old Chris' favourite band and a teenage highlight of Nikki's... how does the latter output stand up against the formative classics? In this first part, hear the ranking alongside discussion of Showbiz, Origin of Symmetry, Absolution and Black Holes and Revelations. (Apologies for the occasional time skip... we tried out fancy new wireless mics for the first time and hit a small issue with interference... or maybe it's those pesky nanobots sent out by THEM, eh Mr Bellamy?)

Nikki and Chris return to their teenage years to sift through the offerings on April 2003's NTWICM! The surviving three tracks will be added to the ever-growing wonder-list: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1wv4z1EZzDpD3VqYqhZH07?si=220775013d4b4e79

Nikki and Chris return to the first half of Madonna's discography to discuss Erotica, Bedtime Stories and widely accepted number one: Ray of Light. Let us know your thoughts on insta @scaredycatpromo Review and recommend if you enjoy, thanks!

Everybody please stand, for we are in the presence of pop royalty as Nikki and Chris start the dizzying task of ranking and discussing the albums of the Queen of Pop herself... Madonna! We start with the pre-Y2K era, ranking the seven albums up to 1998's Ray of Light. In part 1, all seven albums are ranked and we discuss Madonna (the woman and the debut album), Like a Virgin, True Blue and Like a Prayer.

Chris and Nikki discuss the latest offering from animated band Gorillaz in the form of the highly conceptual, India inspired epic, The Mountain. Have they managed to scale unventured summits or is this another step down the staircase towards the retirement basement?

Welcome back! In Part 2, Nikki and Chris discuss With Teeth, Year Zero, The Slip and Hesitation Marks. You can find us at [email protected] or on Instagram @scaredycatpromo if you want to get in touch to let us know your thoughts, suggest future episodes or even put yourself forward for a guest spot!

Chris and Nikki are back to fix another glaring omission from the Black Band T-Shirt back catalogue, ranking the 7 proper (according to us) albums from industrial royalty, Nine Inch Nails. In Part 1 we rank the albums and discuss Pretty Hate Machine, The Downward Spiral and The Fragile.

Taking the same heady nostalgia approach from the last COMP episode on Disney songs in a different direction... Which 2002 alt rock classics will make the ultimate compilation?! Listen to the full ultimate compilation (so far) here: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1wv4z1EZzDpD3VqYqhZH07?si=8428ab14ecd444cf

Nikki and Chris rank and discuss the six albums of South London's Florence + The Machine! This was one of those special ones where the conversation felt much more exploratory and thought provoking than (at least one of us) might have predicted. We'd love to hear your own thoughts on Florence's work, your own favourites and the topics that come up in this episode. Find us one instagram @scaredycatpromo or email us at [email protected]

World's burning innit... let's listen to Disney songs.

5 years on from Episode 3: White Stripes, Chris and Nikki revisit the majesty of Jack White to rank his 6 solo albums!

Join Chris and Nikki as they review their best albums of 2025! How will critic's favourites Rosalía and Geese fare? How are things going in 'Chrissy's Electronic Adventures'? Will Nikki find an excuse to praise members of Radiohead? Chris and Nikki complete the run down of Waits' Asylum Records albums with Small Change, Foreign Affairs, Blue Valentine and Heartattack & Vine.

Chris rubs his hands with glee as he finally gets to make Nikki sit through (at least part of... for now) the discography of sandpaper voiced romantic, Tom Waits. In part 1, they discuss their Asylum Records album rankings and get into Closing Time, The Heart of Saturday Night and Nighthawks at The Diner.
