The Hurl boys check in for a late night episode. We recap some of the issues with the hitting, there are a lot. Looking down at the farm there is a good Montgomery and a bad one. Brief episode but we'll be back once we've seen a bit more of what Meidroth and Quero have to offer the White Sox lineup.

We start things off talking about the latest new from our namesake, Mark Buehrle. The hurl boys go over the Garrett Crochet returns, highlighted by C Kyle Teal and OF Braden Montgomery. We spend a brief moment taking one last look back at the 2017-2024 CWS. Then we kick off a White Sox franchise draft, picking over the husk of a ball club to select ten Sox players we would take to start our organization.

The Chicago White Sox are in shambles once again, and the Tuna Boys are here for it. This is a hogbeast of an episode so pace yourself. We chat one last time about the Crochet and Robert trade market. We whisper about the dream that was Yoan Moncada. Don identifies some free agents who are realistic targets for the team and can shore up some respectability.

We ask the big question... should Don go all in and buy a Drew Thorpe jersey? After that we get into the reality of a Crochet extension within the current organizational cheapskatery or if a mega deal is coming soon. We each pitch our top draft pick for the upcoming MLB draft. Things get out of control in yet another Moncada tribute.

Well Sox fans, we survived the worst losing streak in franchise history. What new lows can this team achieve? We talk about trading Crochet or Robert before the deadline. We talk Josh Gibson taking the top spot on MLB career and season leaderboards. I give a quick recap of the White Sox Garage Sale. And don't forget to write in our veteran pitch framer Martin Maldonado five times a day for the All Star Game.

The Chicago White Sox are 6-22 but undefeated in the Tommy Pham era. We found our latest rent-a-hero. We talk about expectations versus reality and how the team responded to a lifeless offense. After that the focus shifts to some of the organizations youths as the Barons roster tears up AA. We hit on some classic material like Jerry being a cheap a$$.

We have some hopes for the pitching staff but are a bit sheepish on their stamina. Don lays out a portfolio of AAA to F- bets to look at for MLB and the Sox.

The White Sox have traded starter Dylan Cease for a prospect pack from the Padres. We discuss the returns and if the Sox dropped the ball here. Is Luis Robert next? Well, we thought we were garbage enough. Chris Getz had further designs on the torture of Chicago White Sox fans. Tim Anderson was unceremoniously shown the door as the CWS declined his one year option. Don and I piss and moan about it for awhile. We chat a bit about the World Series and our plans for the afternoon.

Call off the worldwide search. Chris Getz is the new singular voice for the Chicago White Sox. We discuss the actual firing of Rick and Kenny, the 'hiring process' the Sox went through, Chris Getz's resume and the press conference. We grade the hire, Don comes out a little more neutral than I. We touch on the magic blubber bullet and Faygo.

The White Sox have mercifully moved on from the 2023 season with a number of trades. We discuss the exits of Lucas Giolito, Lance Lynn, Jake Burger and others. We talk about the prospects that interest us the most from the group the Sox acquired. Don's Moncada fandom reaches a new low towards the end of the episode as he offers Moncada + $20 million for a 19yo A ball player to the Red Sox.

With all hope for the 2023 campaign going wayside for the White Sox, we look to the trade deadline.  Since recording the sox traded Lucas Giolito and Reynaldo Lopez.  It has begun. Project 2025
