Description

This is a trivia podcast where the listener competes against the three hosts. If the listener answers correctly BEFORE the hosts, they should give themselves a point. If the hosts answer first - the point goes to the host. The listener tracks the actual score for both. If they tweet their victory to @TriviaOnAShtick on Twitter, they may win a prize… indeed: prizes HAVE been awarded, but we’ve got day jobs. (Pastor/Real Estate/Purchasing & Production Manager). We’re doing this for fun, and love interacting with people, so feel free to tweet us thoughts, clarifications, ideas, or suggestions.

France Family Feud
2025/09/01
🧐🧐🧐🤨🤨🤨🙋🙋🏼‍♂️🙋🏽‍♀️🙋🏻🙋🏿‍♂️🙋🏼‍♀️🤨🤨🤨🧐🧐🧐 Jacob polled 10 random children and asks trivia questions in the style of Family Feud. It’s not “what you know,” it’s “how we’ll do you know this cross section of America?” Depends on the topic, I guess.
Alliterivia
2025/08/17
Nathan asks questions that have alliterative answers. Honestly, Jacob and I should have done better. But… like the Pittsburgh Pirates: you can’t win them all.
TV Settings: Do Not Adjust
2025/08/02
Brightness, tint, saturation… analog television had its—just kidding. Nathan asks questions based on the settings of your favorite TV shows. …Well… HIS favorite TV shows.
Jacob’s Quickie
2025/07/19
Jacob, with a quick four questions. Our shortest episode EVER! 😬😍😂
Planet Sun
2025/07/06
Daniel is back, and guest hosts this episode on things he finds interesting. Jacob, Nathan, and Philip all look like the smartest people in the world. Maybe they ARE the smartest people in the world… There’s no way you could even know that, Napoleon…
Daname Dan Name
2025/05/31
Jacob, Nathan, and Philip are joined by Daniel - who gets grilled on his name. Famous people. Translations of Dan… songs… artists… books… authors… How many famous Dans do the Dans in *your* life know?
Get to Class!
2025/05/04
Jacob mirrors a typical school day… if you have fruit breaks where you go to school. …I never did. He asks trivia questions ranging from science class, to English, to math, to candy. Can you beat the semi-semi pros?
Famous Pseudonyms
2025/04/18
Nathan asked 10 questions about famous pseudonyms. I’m not going to tell you how many we get right, because that would be cheating. OK it’s eight. We missedtwo. And apparently they were easy ones.
Horror and Food (with Hypothetically Sound)
2025/04/07
Randy and Alek (of Hypothetically Sound) join us again, and ask US questions dealing with horror movies, and food. A perfect pairing! Can you answer their questions, more accurately, and faster than we did? …Technically, Alek joined us, so we did okay.
Cryptids and Slick Kids (with Hypothetically Sound)
2025/03/15
“Hypothetically Sound’s” Randy and Alek join Jacob, Nathan and Philip to compete against the listeners in an episode dedicated to “cryptids.”
Iranian Moons
2025/03/01
Jacob asks 10 general trivia questions. Can you beat Philip and Nathan? Yes. Yes you can.
One Two ¡THREE FOUR!
2025/02/11
Philip asks questions about famous songs written in 3/4 time. Jacob and Nathan (and YOU, dear listener) get bonus points if they can sing it out while keeping time. Occasionally, falsetto is involved. Can you beat them??? Certainly, you can sing better than the three of us combined. Good luck! Let us know on BlueSky if you end up beating us!
