Anita hails from Florida and works as a surgical technician. This kind and funny 40-year-old might come across as an extroverted social butterfly, but Anita actually thinks of herself as a homebody who loves spending time with her furbabies, do-it-yourself projects, and the occasional glass of wine. So, what was so attractive about doing a boudoir photoshoot? For one, Anita spends her working life in drab scrubs. She was ready for a glamorous and sexy change. Another reason was Anita's love of trying new things. This courageous lady drove from Florida to Maryland alone for a travel assignment, leaving her home, friends, and family. She hates snow!!! Luckily, there is little of that frozen stuff in Florida!  Anita's mindset is a beautiful one. Very little keeps her up at night. Life is too short to worry about every little thing. Anita prays and leaves her worries with God. She says that God will not take you where grace and mercy won't keep you. Wise words from this beautiful soul! We are thrilled to kick off Season Two of our awesome podcast Bombshell Tells All with the gorgeous Shannon Banegas! Mom and grandmom Shannon describes herself as a daddy’s girl who is outgoing, caring, and kind. She is devoted to her family but felt a lack of confidence in her own beauty. Was she still sexy? Like many other women, Shannon was sensitive about her weight.  Shannon describes her photo session as a pivotal moment in her life. Even when the shoot was over, Shannon remembered that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, and that true beauty is on the inside. She defines a bombshell as a woman who can look at herself regardless of her flaws and know that she is SEXY! Shannon’s main takeaway after the shoot was that regardless of what other people say and think, she knows she is big and beautiful.  Now that she is an official bombshell, Shannon's advice is: always love yourself. Creative and tenacious Danielle is proof that when life hands you lemons, you squeeze them as hard as you can and make lemonade! When this D.C. native had to switch careers following a nosedive in the economy, she managed to put herself through nursing school while working another job and raising her family, keeping a grueling schedule that seemed impossible. A pivotal moment in Diana's life came when she applied that belief to herself. To ensure that was she stayed healthy for her loved ones, Diana underwent weight loss surgery. "I wish I had done it sooner," Diana shared. When she had lost a lot of weight, Diana decided she wanted to do something to celebrate her achievement and her new body. She turned to Daysy for a boudoir photoshoot. Diana is a certified pharmacy technician and lifelong Maryland resident. She's married and has a son who's almost eight. In her spare time, Diana enjoys crochet, reading, shopping at Target, and enjoying ice cream. She is a former neighborhood night tag champion and remembers that as some of the best times of her childhood. She is sharing these and much more at today's episode!

Confident and passionate Bailey shares her journey to self-acceptance and love in her own skin in this latest podcast! Bailey's condition is called Vitiligo, which is caused by a lack of the pigment melatonin in the skin. Do you think this condition has limited Bailey or caused her to feel less beautiful? No way! Having been raised in a military family and traveling all over the world, plus adjusting to her parents' divorce when she was young has helped Bailey become a strong and responsible woman. Daysy gets to talk shop with fellow boudoir photographer Cindy DeJesus. Like Daysy, Cindy uses the art of photography to help empower women.  Cindy was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia to Indian parents, and can speak Hindi, Punjabi, English, and Spanish! She currently lives in Rhode Island with her hubby and three kids. Tune in to hear all about trends in the field of boudoir photography and learn more about these two talented women!

This special episode explores the subject of Daysy's own spiritual experiences, and how they shaped her professional career. She talks about her spiritual awakening and how it helped her to understand that her work is also part of her life mission. Literally. Everything became a simple concept: We are all connected! Learning to love yourself as who you are is a simple but essential concept, and a lesson we should practice every day because once mastered, it can be applied to any part of people's lives. Happiness does come from within. 

Some people say that a boudoir photo session can be a powerful form of therapy. Today's episode will prove that this is absolutely true! Gorgeous Amy is a sweet soul, the mother of two 2 lovely daughters aged 18 and 21, and an accomplished Executive Assistant for a big pharmaceutical company. Although Amy describes herself as a "textbook introvert," she is a joy to chat with as well as an inspiration as she works on rediscovering herself and loving the beautiful woman she is. Amy shares with us a bit of her story: how a narcissistic relationship tarnished her self-image, and how it took time and great effort to put the past behind her and embrace her self-worth. After so much hard work rediscovering herself, Amy is back in the dating game (we might even record another episode with Amy about dating in your 40s--that will be fun!). Here what Amy has to say about her experience during the process: "Don't be afraid to face your demons, because they stay with you all your life. I'm 46 and I should have addressed my self-confidence issues long, long ago."  

Jasmin is this gorgeous 28-year-old African American goddess, born in Harrisburg, PA but currently residing in Frederick, MD. Jasmin is a single mother, blessed with three beautiful children (1 boy and 2 girls). Even though Jasmin is young, she's had a great number of difficulties in her early life, and she shared with us her memories from her past: the battle and struggle with addiction and how much it has taken from her, until she realized she could not keep going that path and how she was able to rise and conquer. It was a hard process, but today she is clean and free and she is building up on a path of self-love for and love for others around her. That decision has brought so much joy and positive energy and it built new and happier memories with her kids and partner, who are her main supporters. Her strong and stable relationship with her partner is also helping her heal from past traumas, and today she is starting to see her real self as the person she wants to be: a happier and loving mother and partner, who is walking on the path of happiness. Jasmin also shares her reasons to choose doing a boudoir session and her experience as a whole, and how it has helped her on that journey.

Melissa walked us through her main life points on this interview, giving us a chance to get to know a little bit about her amazing soul, but enough to understand that all of us share something special. Melissa was raised in Montgomery County, and she is the only girl, the 3rd child out of 4. She says she grew up as a tomboy. Melissa graduated from Towson University with a degree in fine arts and not quit a minor in psychology. She had plans to become an art therapist but she never went back to school. She became an assistant manager for a florist for 6 years and her close friend became a police officer, that was when she started riding along. It was enough to get her hooked and she became a police officer!!  Now, currently 60 years old of maturity in life, her motto is "Kindness is contagious be a carrier" and it says so much about this amazing lady!!! She first look into doing a Boudoir Session after coming out of my second failed marriage and turning 60, but it became something bigger than that. It reminded her she is enough and she is beautiful!
