Episode 33: Saturday Morning Chats with Opie
2022/06/04
In today’s episode, Opie decides to take y’all along with her on a drive to just chat about how life has been recently. What she has been up to travel wise, what she has to look forward to and things that she has been dealing with. As well as a special shout out to all of our LGBTQ+ tater tots, we wish you a happy pride month! Please know that if you don’t have acceptance at home, you certainly do with us. You are loved, wanted and accepted just as you are! If you’d like to email us your comments, questions, suggestions or to just vent to us (we are not therapists but we will try to be there for you in the best way we can) you can do that at [email protected]. We would love to hear your input! As always, be better, not bitter. We love you and will be back soon!
Episode 32: Roe vs Wade Talk
2022/05/07
TW: Political talk, mentions of COVID and abortion, some coarse language. This episode we talk about the current events going on in the US with roe vs wade. No matter what your beliefs may be, it is important that we remain kind - and remember that we are all human. Everyone has a reason for what they choose to do. And while you may not agree with abortion, or even like the idea of it, there are many reasons why someone may choose to or need to have one. We believe that no one should have a say over what someone else does with their body. Bodily autonomy should not be a privilege, it should be a right. If you are in a situation where you are afraid for what could happen to you, or don’t know what to do regarding anything mentioned in this episode, please reach out to someone. If you do not have someone to reach out to, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Although we are not professionals, we will find the resources for you. Thank you for your continued support and remember to be kind to yourself and others. Always! We will be back with a new episode next week ♥️
Episode 31: Chats with the Girls and Generational Trauma
2022/04/30
We’re back!!! Sorry we’ve been gone so long. Life has been crazy for all of us. But we are back and committed to posting every Saturday like we used to. We miss it and we know y’all do too! This episode we touch on generational trauma and how it affects us even still to this day. We also talk about our lives and just catch up on things. As always, don’t forget to follow our socials as well as Seth on TikTok @themediumsethnrowder and on IG @mediumsethbrowder! Feel free to send us an email at [email protected] with your questions and/or suggestions! We love y’all and we will see you next Saturday!
Episode 30: Being Used
2022/03/19
Hey Tater Tots! This episode is special because Rissa is finally back after her being away for months. This is the first time we have recorded with all three of us since before Christmas so we are extremely excited to be together again. On this episode we talk about our experiences being used by other people to benefit them. Please remember that if someone is using you in a way to benefit themselves, it is more than okay for you to set boundaries with them. It is not a reflection of you, but it is a reflection of who they are. As always, thank you for your continued support and for listening to our podcast! Stay tuned for next weeks episode. Don’t forget to subscribe to Opie’s YouTube “Ophelia Nichols” and to follow us on TikTok! We are finally catching up with emails and look forward to hearing from you all. Email us at [email protected]
Episode 29: Self Love or Self Sabatoge?
2022/02/19

Episode 28: “What Would You Do?” Chats with Opie
2022/02/12
TW: mentions of abuse.. This weeks episode is just with Opie! In it, she talks about her past with her mother and asks for the listeners input on what they would do if they were in the situation she is currently dealing with. This is an important episode to her, and a subject that weighs on her heart. Unfortunately, some of us are not born with loving parents and sometimes we have to make decisions that will benefit our mental health. Even if they are difficult to make. Please check out Opie’s Instagram post (@Ophelianichols) and share your thoughts and feelings, if you don’t have Instagram, she has also made the same post on Facebook and looks forward to hearing from you all! Next week we will hopefully all be back on the podcast and look forward to recording together! Be sure to subscribe to Opie’s TikTok while you are at it - you can find it in the linktree in her TikTok bio or by simply searching “Ophelia Nichols” on YouTube! If you don’t want to publicly comment but have something to say regarding this episode or anything else you may want to discuss with the three of us, you can email us at [email protected]! Thank you for your support! We love and appreciate you all.
Episode 27: Chats with Opie & Lissa
2022/01/29
This weeks episode was just a random lunch time chat with two of us because Rissa has been stressed out and extremely busy with life. In this episode, we talk about the sister wives, COVID and what’s happening with the trucking convoy in Canada. We hope to be back to regular episodes asap - we miss the three of us doing it just as much as y’all! Thank you for being patient with us and continuing to support and listen to our podcast. We love you all.
Episode 26: Christmas, Mental Exhaustion and New Years
2022/01/01
This is another episode without a specific topic, due to the holidays, missing Rissa and our mental health we have tried to keep things light and just talk about whatever. Next weeks episode will be back to our normal scheduling! But this episode, we talk about Christmas, mental exhaustion, makeup and the new year - things we are looking forward to are on their way! We wanted to thank everyone for listening to and supporting our podcast this year. It means the world to all three of us, and it’s something we never expected we would ever be capable of. So thank you for your continuous love and support. We wish you the most wonderful 2022 and we cannot wait to see where it takes us. It’ll be a good one!
Episode 25: Life Stories, Mardi Gras and Christmas
2021/12/18
Hey tater tots! This weeks episode is just two of us due to Rissa being caught up in school and life’s craziness. We didn’t pick a topic this week so we talked about all sorts of things. The pain that mothers can bring onto their children, loss and grief, as well as Mardi Gras and those king cakes Derick can’t wait for Lissa to try. We hope that every one of y’all have a wonderful Christmas and that you get to spend it with those you love. Please never forget how loved you all are, we are so grateful for your continuous support and sweet words. We will be back after Christmas! In the meantime, check out Opie’s YouTube - at Ophelia Nichols, and feel free to send us an email to [email protected]
Episode 24: Divorce and Co-Parenting
2021/12/11
In this episode we have a special guest on our podcast, our friend Kim from New York! We are grateful to have her join us to talk about the experiences we have had with divorce and co-parenting. We also talk about the importance of not staying in a relationship that you are unhappy with just for your children. Kids really do pick up on everything around them and they would rather see their parents happy and separated than miserable but staying together. It’s important to know that a healthy co-parent relationship doesn’t happen overnight, it takes work and it’s not always easy. But it is possible! Whatever you are going through, be it divorce, relationship struggles, or feeling stuck in an unhappy marriage just know that it’s okay to put yourself first. It’s important to do so! Thank you for listening to this weeks episode and for continuing to support us. We will be back next week with another new episode for y’all! As always, you can email us at [email protected] with questions, comments, suggestions or if you just need someone to talk to… and don’t forget to follow us on TikTok @shoelover99 (@Mamatot99 is the backup account) , @themessytherapist and @mellissaprice7! We love y’all.
Episode 23: Lunchtime Chats with Tot Talks
2021/12/04
!!! Rated 18+ !!! In this hot mess of an episode, we cover so many random topics such as seasonal depression, our Google searches, shopping, and boundaries. This episode is a a little peek inside of what our every day phone conversations, texts and in person interactions are like - all of the time. We hope you enjoy our random, ADHD filled episode! It was exactly what the three of us needed, we know we have been away for a while but we are working on getting back into our routine and putting out episodes weekly for you again! Thank you for being patient with us and continuing to love and support our crazy selves. ❤️ As always, feel free to send us an email at [email protected] and follow us on TikTok at @shoelover99 @themessytherapist and @mellissaprice7
Episode 22: Internet Stalking and Impersonation
2021/11/13
This episode is important to us because unfortunately, Opie has been dealing with someone harassing, stalking and impersonating her online now for a while. At this point it has gone too far, and we just want it to end. On this episode we talk about the dangers of people on the internet and how terrifying it can actually be. If you are being harassed or stalked on the internet - please reach out to your local authorities! This is a crime. Remember to please be safe on the internet and be cautious of who you trust or what information you give out. We finish the episode on a lighter note, talking about the weekend where the three of us finally met! It was a perfect weekend and we can’t wait to be back with each other again soon. ❤️ You can follow Opie on TikTok @shoelover99, her only other account is @mamatot99.. ANY other account that may look like her is NOT HER. Please block and report them. You can follow her wonderful and loving husband @dericknichols on TikTok, and us at @themessytherapist and @mellissaprice7. If you have any comments, questions or concerns, email us at [email protected]. We are happy to be back and we will see you next weekend!
