The #Flyers are in need of a new coach.  A #NHLStanleyCup coach has just entered the market in Barry Trotz.  Dan "Old School" Green makes an argument why he should be the next Flyers coach.  Guest host, Zak Kindrachuk, ultimately went with Rick Tocchet.  Other candidates considered were Assistants, Rob Zettler and Derek Lalonde, of the 2 time Cup Champions, Tampa Bay #Lightning, and Jeff Daniels, Assistant Coach with the Hurricanes.  Tune in to hear more!

Can the #Flyers regain respectability sooner than later?  Are the #NHLPlayoffs a reality in the upcoming years?  The Flyer and Ice team have discussed prospects like Attard, Brink, Foerster, Desnoyers, and others, who hopefully can help this rebuild sooner than later.  Today the guys feature Zayde Wisdom, Ivan Fedotov, and Emil Andrae.  Which one of these 3 will crack the #NHL first?  Nick and Dan will let you know!

The Flyer and Ice crew recently discussed Ronnie Attard, and Bobby Brink.  Attard is already impressing on the #Flyers, and Brink just won a #FrozenFour Championship Saturday night.  He will close out the season with the #OrangeandBlack as well.  Today we discuss 3 more high end players ready for the Big Club: Tyson Foerster, Elliot Desnoyers, and Connor McClennon.

As this horrific #Flyers season slowly winds down, the only thing intriguing is to watch the kids who are in the lineup tonight against the great #Leafs team, and beyond.  Kids like Tippett, York, Cates, and making his NHL debut tonight, Ronnie Attard.  And with Attard entering the lineup, the games played streak of Keith Yandle comes to end at 989 games.  Congratulations Keith, but it was long overdue!  Additionally, do not be surprised to see the likes of #FrozenFour players Bryce Brodzinski, and Bobby Brink join the Flyers soon as well!

After a controversial trade, a majority of #FlyersNation is irate over the return for Claude Giroux.  Even the @FlyerandIcePod crew was split.  Dan and Nick break down the #NHL trade, and Nick "The Scout" tries to calm the #Flyers fan base down.

Having just played his 1000th game with the #Flyers, Claude Giroux is destined to be traded by Monday's #NHLTradeDeadline.  Where will he go?  Rumors now have the #NHLPanthers as the favorites?  Perhaps this is just to drive up the offer from the Avalanche?  Dan and Nick of @FlyerandIcepod discuss the swan song of the CAPTAIN!

The struggling #Flyers cannot build through expensive free agents alone!  They have to rely on their draft picks.  Today, we feature 3 very productive, collegiate prospects who could be signed for the next NHL campaign. Ronnie Attard out of Western Michigan, Bobby Brink from #UniversityofDenver, and Jay O'Brien from #BostonUniversity.

As our good friend James Roberts mentioned on a recent show regarding the #Flyers, "This is not a rebuild, or retool, but time to Scorch Earth!"  With that said, no player on the current roster is safe if another #NHL GM blows you away with an offer.  We know Giroux, Risto, Braun, and many other are likely slam dunks to get moved.  The #Avalanche have been linked to Giroux for quite some time now.  What about guys like Provorov and Konecny?  We will discuss our thoughts on these two, and if we think they should stay or go.

With the #PhiladelphiaFlyers season looking like a complete train wreck, we take a break from longer shows, and start a sister show, 2 Minutes For Roughing.  These will be quick hitters on various hockey topics.  We will have traditional shows closer to the #NHLTradeDeadline, and #NHLPlayoffs.  For now, enjoy our thoughts on the 2 underrated Flyers of All-Time.
