I have basically made this week's episode entierly with my phone, so apologies that the sound is a bit off this week but I didn't want to have to push the podcast again, so we are trying this technique out. Hello Seekers! Ooooooohhhhmmmaaaaannnn! Today's a good one! On multiple levels! Some of you know, some of you don't but I've been living in the Netherlands for the past four years. It's a beautiful country and I enjoy it very much however, one of the tougher adjustments that I've had to make is that I've had a tough time finding the more "mysterious and weird" aspect of the Netherlands. The occult angle here is always a pretty solid given, what with the Ritman library being here, a rich history of practicing alchemists and artists, as well as a castle supposedly inhabited by Faust. But it wasn't until my neighbor told mw about the UFO sighitngs over the area of Soesterberg that the doorway to "weird Netherlands" finally opened a crack! I can't wait to go on this adventure with you - both talking about this particular UFO sighting but also as we explore all the additional esoteric, paranormal and outright weird aspects of my new neighborhood. Hello Seekers! We are in a MASSIVE heatwave out in Europe right now - so much so that everythig is closed due to the heat and my computer's fan sounds like a commercial airplane trying to take off. Everything is melting, so I thought a good way to keep up the pace is to debut our first ever OSP (technically, Bizarre States Ressurected) re-run!  For those that haven't listened to my old Bizaare States Ressurected podcast - DON'T! They're terrible! However, I listened through it myself, cleaned up and edited my audio and found that the bones for a wonderfully weird history episode are there and worthy of a retread.
