“You’ll Go to the Nations—But Not the Way You Thought”
2026/09/30
What if God wants to take you to the nations—but through business rather than traditional ministry?
In this episode of Kingdom Keys for Business, Life & Work, Gea Gort and Bill Job talk with Monica Ahn, a Korean-Brazilian ordained pastor and entrepreneur living in California.
After years of church leadership, Monica and her husband began asking a new question: Could there be another way to do church—and even fund mission through business? That journey unexpectedly led Monica into Korean skincare and network marketing. What initially seemed unlikely became a growing international business and, for Monica, a new expression of her calling.
Then God spoke words that reframed her journey: “You’re going to go to the nations, but not the way you thought.” Monica came to believe that business would open doors to relationships, discipleship, and ministry across nations.
She also shares what happened when she sensed spiritual opposition within her growing international team and invited people into 40 days of prayer and fasting. Thirty to forty people from different countries joined daily—including some who were not Christians. Monica describes reconciliation, renewed strength, answered prayer, and a remarkable custody breakthrough for one team member.
Together, Monica, Bill and Gea explore what it means to hear God in business, recognize spiritual realities in the workplace, and see business itself as a place to shepherd people.
Ultimately, Monica's story is about intimacy with God, recognizing His voice, and having the courage to follow when He leads somewhere unexpected.

Don’t Chase Your Calling—Walk With God
2026/09/16
What if your business is not separate from your calling—but actually part of it?
In this episode of Kingdom Keys for Business, Life & Work, Gea Gort and Bill Job talk with “Jacob,” a fifth-generation Dutch entrepreneur whose family has worked in the food industry for more than 125 years.
As a teenager, Jacob sensed a call to serve God among the nations and assumed that might mean leaving business for full-time ministry. Instead, God gradually brought his calling and entrepreneurship together.
Jacob shares how his journey eventually took him to Asia, where he developed a protein-rich food business with a holistic mission. The road was far from straightforward: partnerships failed, doors closed, cultural mistakes were made, and he encountered situations where corruption was considered normal. Yet along the way, Jacob repeatedly saw unexpected people, ideas, and opportunities come together.
One of his most important practices is surprisingly simple: every Sunday morning he walks for one or two hours, praying, listening, and bringing his business before God.
The conversation explores calling, integrity, receiving ideas from God, finding the right people, and redefining profit as impact—not simply money.
Jacob’s encouragement is simple: you don’t need to anxiously search for your calling. Ask God for wisdom and guidance, walk faithfully, and trust Him to lead.

How to Work With God Without Becoming Overwhelmed
2026/07/29
How can busy entrepreneurs and leaders make space for people, their responsibilities—and God—without becoming overwhelmed?
In this episode, Gea Gort continues her conversation with entrepreneur Bill Job about working with God rather than carrying every responsibility alone. Bill shares how he seeks God’s guidance not only about what to do, but also how to do it.
Drawing from the example of Jesus, they explore what it means to do what should be done—without trying to do everything that could be done. They discuss intuition, daily decisions, other people’s expectations, joy in ordinary tasks, and the importance of investing in our relationship with God through worship.
Bill also speaks honestly about setbacks, spiritual battles and seasons when a business does not seem to flourish. He closes with an encouraging update about a vertical farming project in China that appeared to have failed—but is now unexpectedly gaining new momentum.

Business as Worship: A Blueprint for City Transformation
2026/07/01
What if business could become an act of worship—and a catalyst for transforming an entire city?
In this inspiring conversation, Paul Unsworth shares the bigger vision that emerged from Kahaila, the coffee shop and social enterprise movement he started in the heart of East London. Drawing from the rich history of London’s ancient guilds and "Worshipful Companies," Paul explores how business leaders, churches, and communities can work together to address social challenges, create opportunities, and seek the flourishing of their cities.
Together with Bill Job and Gea Gort, Paul reflects on God's heart for cities, the role of business in social transformation, and why worship is far more than something we do on Sundays. What if your company, organization, or daily work became an expression of worship to God?
This conversation will challenge and inspire entrepreneurs, church leaders, and anyone who longs to see faith make a tangible impact in society.
The next cohort Kingdom Mindsets for Business starts Wednesday September 23rd. You are invited to join this 10-week online program, which includes six biweekly sessions with Bill and Gea. Due to the smaller group setting, space is limited.

What If Church Looked More Like a Coffee Shop?
2026/06/17
What happens when a church starts looking more like a coffee shop than a Sunday service?
In this episode of Kingdom Keys for Business, Life and Work, Gea Gort and Bill Job talk with Paul Unsworth, founder of Kahaila, a thriving café and community in East London that has become a powerful example of Business as Mission in action.
As a Baptist pastor, Paul became convinced that many people would never walk into a church building—but they would walk into a coffee shop. That conviction led him to create a space where people could belong before they believed, where faith could be discovered through relationships, hospitality, and practical love.
What started as a café on Brick Lane grew into initiatives helping women leave sex work, supporting survivors of human trafficking, creating employment opportunities, and launching new businesses that continue to transform lives.
Paul also shares honestly about the challenges: growing too fast, navigating organizational tensions, surviving COVID, and learning to trust God's voice through seasons of pruning and uncertainty.
This conversation is a powerful encouragement for anyone sensing God's invitation to step out in faith, even when they feel unqualified. Paul: "My main gift isn't entrepreneurship. My main gift is faith."

What if the Church is suffering from “Spiritual ALS”?
2026/05/20
In this thought-provoking episode, Bill Job explores a powerful metaphor: just as ALS disconnects the brain from the body, many believers live disconnected from the Head — Jesus Himself.
Bill shares why hearing God’s voice is not reserved for a spiritual elite, but is meant to be a normal part of everyday life. From practical stories about daily decisions to deeper reflections on identity, shame, joy, and intimacy with God, this conversation challenges religious mindsets and invites listeners into a more relational walk with Jesus.
Together, Bill and Gea discuss:
What “Spiritual ALS” means for the ChurchWhy many believers struggle to hear God’s voiceThe difference between conviction and condemnationHow church culture and shame can block intimacy with GodLearning to recognize God’s “accent”Living with joy in ordinary daily lifeWhy following Jesus should feel more relational than religiousThis episode is both deeply practical and spiritually refreshing — especially for anyone longing to experience a closer, more natural relationship with God.
📌 In the next episode, Bill will discuss what happens when we think we heard God… but things turn out differently than expected.

More Than Food: Why Kids Need Play to Thrive
2026/05/06
What if play isn’t a luxury—but a key to a child’s future?
In this episode, Bill Job and I sit down with Ferdi van den Bergh to explore a different side of his journey—far beyond business in the Netherlands. This time, we dive into his heart for children in Uganda and the story behind Tjeko, a growing social enterprise creating spaces where kids can simply be kids.
Ferdi shares how a simple moment—watching children peeking through a fence at others playing—sparked a vision:
What if every child had access to joy, creativity, and play?
From that moment, Tjeko was born. What started as a personal desire to create something for his own daughter has grown into a mission reaching thousands of children—combining business and ministry in a sustainable way.
This conversation is about more than playgrounds. It’s about:
Seeing the gold in people. Building something that is both social and profitableChoosing joy—even in difficult seasonsAnd discovering how God can use your natural talents for a bigger purpose💡 Key takeaway: You don’t have to separate business and mission. Sometimes, the most powerful impact starts with simply noticing what’s missing—and responding.

The Gold in Your Team | Ferdi van den Bergh
2026/04/22
What if the real “gold” in your business isn’t your strategy… but your people?
In this episode, we sit down with Ferdi van den Bergh to explore a powerful shift in leadership: from managing performance to discovering hidden value in the people around you.
Ferdi shares insights from his upcoming book 'Goud in Handen' (Gold in Hands) and his work with businesses across the Netherlands. Together, with Bill Job, Gea Gort, we unpack what it really means to “see” people—not just for what they do, but for who they are and what they carry.
This conversation goes beyond theory. It’s about real businesses, real pressure, and the tension between profit and people—and how both actually belong together.
🔑 What you’ll learn in this episode:
Why your employees are the real “gold” in your organizationHow to recognize hidden potential in your teamThe role of vision in unlocking people’s valueWhy timing and patience matter in leadershipThe balance between business results and caring for peopleA simple but powerful practice to start seeing people differently💡 One takeaway to remember: Take two minutes and ask yourself: “When did someone truly see me—and what did that unlock?” Now go and do that for someone else.
📘 Ferdi’s book 'Goud in Handen' (Gold in Hands) launches during a symposium Gold Within, June 23rd in the Netherlands, for info see https://goud-in-handen.nl/
