Reached back into the archives for this one. 7 years ago Keela spoke at a youth conference and delivered a transformational message that we can all learn from. YOU CAN STOP OR START ANYTHING YOU WANT TO IN LIFE. The only excuse is the excuse! There is no situation or circumstance that can overtake us, when we have God's power working in us! The enemy wants us to hold back and put up walls, but God can only work in what we allow Him to have authority in - in our lives. LET GOD WORK and STOP IT! We have a part to play in the promises of God - BELIEF. If you can get there on your own, WHY DO YOU NEED GOD?!? He will make a way when there seems to be no way. Sometimes we water down the promise of God, so that it makes sense to us. We bring the level down so that we can feel good about what is possible. BUT GOD DOESN’T WORK OR EXIST OR WANT US TO LIVE IN WHAT IS POSSIBLE. HE LIVES IN IMPOSSIBILITY. We look at life at a natural viewpoint, but God doesn’t exist in the natural. GOD IS NOT LIMITED BY WHAT LIMITS US. Your belief is either empowering or limiting. Keela and Cole talk about the current times we are in culture and how if we continue down this path as believers of being passive and tolerant, we are going reap a harvest we would never want. It's time to stop believing that the church's tolerance is love. It's not. Tolerance of culture mocking Jesus, Christianity, and accepting ideologies that are antithetical to the word of God. Stop being tolerant and start being strong and courageous. Keela talks about how much God has for you RIGHT NOW. He has given you EVERYTHING you need to accomplish what God has called you to do. We have to choose to use what we have been entrusted with, so that God can add His power to our situations and circumstances. Don't look back - Stop getting distracted on what may be ahead and instead look to what possibilities God has RIGHT NOW for you! This week Keela reminds us that everything can shift in a moment and that it all starts with what we think and then shifts to what we say and do. Even when you do not think you have control, you have power in how you respond to life. Keela delivers a message that she spoke in youth a few years back about the gift of the small in our lives. Often, we are looking for the BIG things to happen. BIGGER IS BETTER RIGHT? We look for our dreams to come true, for our prayers to be answered, for our miracle to happen. But one of the biggest mistakes we can make, is to overlook the small. God can do anything all at once, but often – He does His best work in the small. We get impatient with God, and we do not think He is doing enough in us and for us. God often does small things – so that He can bring us along with us. If God gave you all your dreams and gave you everything He intends to bring into your life – you would not be capable of receiving it. We want the big thing, but we are not capable of seeing the GIFT OF THE SMALL. In the season that we are in now! This week Cole and Keela sit down to talk with an incredible woman, Hafsa Haye. She is a former Sunni Muslim who converted to Christianity and now runs a ministry focused on sharing Christian testimonies, faith stories, redemption, and transformation. She describes her journey as leaving “the world of Islam for the light of Christ.” In her writing, she reflects on her past life in a system that felt like a “permanent debt” involving constant calculation and proving worth, contrasting it with the peace, new creation, and freedom she found in Christ (referencing 2 Corinthians 5:17). Hafsa is also an evangelist and the Founder of the Bridge Global Foundation, an organization dedicated to providing refuge, discipleship, and essential support services for Christians facing persecution. Drawing on firsthand experience as a former Muslim and the complexities of integration, Hafsa creates sustainable pathways for restoration for those rebuilding their lives. https://www.bridgeglobalfoundation.org Where you can find everything about Hafsa Haye: Key Aspects of Her Work Website and Ministry: Her site hafsahaye.com serves as a welcoming space for Christian testimonies, interviews, and conversations on faith, hope, and changed lives.
