The Black Monk of Pontefract: 30 East Drive Haunting & Poltergeist | Part 1
2026/09/29
Send us Fan Mail What happens when a completely ordinary family moves into an ordinary house—and strange activity begins almost immediately? In Part One of this two-part series, we’re heading to 30 East Drive in Pontefract, West Yorkshire, the home at the center of one of Britain’s most infamous reported poltergeist cases. When Jean and Joe Pritchard moved into the house with their children in 1966, there was no haunted reputation, centuries-old legend, or warning waiting for them. But that soon changed. What began with unexplained dust and mysterious pools of water reportedly escalated into lights switching on and off, strange substances appearing from taps and toilets, violently shaking cupboards, objects moving and flying through the house, unexplained noises, physical attacks, and encounters with a mysterious black-robed figure. We’ll explore the Pritchard family’s reported experiences, the infamous staircase incident involving Diane Pritchard, the theories surrounding poltergeist activity, and the investigators who tried to make sense of what was happening inside Number 30. We’ll also look at how the legend of the Black Monk of Pontefract developed—and why later historical research failed to establish the story of the monk as it is often told today. But the story doesn’t end when the Pritchards leave. Years later, paranormal investigators, television crews, and curious visitors would return to 30 East Drive, reporting strange phenomena of their own. Was the activity really over—or was something still waiting inside the house? Join Andi and Feliz as we dive into the history, reported paranormal activity, poltergeist claims, and enduring mystery surrounding one of the UK's most notorious haunted houses. This is Part One. The investigation continues in Part Two. You Two Scare Me is a paranormal podcast coming to you from Key West, Florida, hosted by BFFs Feliz and Andi. Haunted Homecoming: Ghost Stories from Schools, Football Fields & Prom Night
2026/09/22
Send us Fan Mail Homecoming is supposed to be about coming back. But what if some former students never left? This week on the You Two Scare Me Podcast, we’re heading back to school for Haunted Homecoming, where football traditions, locker rooms, old field houses, and school dances come with a paranormal twist. We start at West Chester University in Pennsylvania, where legend says the ghost of a former student becomes especially active during homecoming weekend. Then we travel to Punahou School in Hawaii, where the spirit of former athlete Shawn Akina may still be pulling the same locker-room pranks he was known for when he was alive. At Iowa State University, campus lore tells of a mysterious “football ghost” who reportedly suits up on game days, while the former Riddick Field House at NC State developed a reputation for shadow figures, unexplained footsteps, strange intercom sounds, and the unnerving sound of someone walking on a floor that didn't exist. Then the episode takes a darker turn with a creepy prom-night legend involving a teenage girl, a dark locker room, a mysteriously glowing curling iron, and another girl in a prom dress who shouldn't have been there. And in this week's Somebody Told Me, Andi shares a story told to her firsthand about the historic Holy Cross School in New Orleans, where students working in the old administration building encountered unexplained crashes and massive windows that somehow opened themselves—even though they had been painted and sealed shut. Football ghosts, haunted locker rooms, phantom footsteps, prom-night spirits, and former students who may still be hanging around long after graduation… Welcome to Haunted Homecoming. Haunted Schools | Real Ghost Stories, Graveyards & a Mysterious Dark Figure
2026/09/15
Send us Fan Mail School is creepy enough after everyone goes home. The hallways are dark, the classrooms are empty, and suddenly every unexplained footstep sounds a little too close. This week on  the You Two Scare Me Podcast, we’re heading back to school with some seriously haunted campuses. We visit Pocatello High School in Idaho, where staff reported unexplained footsteps and phantom piano music before a security camera captured something strange moving through an empty hallway. Then we head to Lee Williams High School in Kingman, Arizona, built over the remains of an old cemetery where human remains and coffins have continued to turn up—and where mysterious figures in old-fashioned clothing have reportedly appeared during graduation ceremonies. Across the Atlantic, Winchester College in England has had more than 600 years to collect its ghosts, with stories of rattling gates, nighttime apparitions, doors opening on their own, and even something pulling the sheets from guests' beds. Finally, we travel to Kelantan, Malaysia, where a frightening series of events unfolded at SMK Pengkalan Chepa 2 in 2016. More than 150 people were reportedly affected as students and teachers described screaming, fainting, strange physical sensations, and encounters with a mysterious black figure. The situation became so intense that the school temporarily closed—and then similar reports began surfacing at nearby schools. Was it paranormal activity, centuries of ghost stories, mass psychogenic illness...or something else entirely? Plus, in our Somebody Told Me segment, Jemi returns with more incredible stories about seeing spirits, including a mysterious little boy and one final visit from a loved one who had just passed away. Turn out the classroom lights, make sure you're really the last person in the building, and join us for Haunted Schools. Haunted Penn State | Ghost Stories, Paranormal Activity & Murder in the Stacks
2026/09/08
Send us Fan Mail What happens when a university with more than 170 years of history becomes filled with stories of ghosts, unexplained activity, mysterious footsteps, haunted dorm rooms, and an unsolved murder? In this episode of  You Two Scare Me, we head to Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania, and explore some of the campus's most famous—and unsettling—ghost stories. From the legendary Old Coaly, the mule whose preserved skeleton has become part of Penn State history, to the mysterious Ghost Walk, we explore the folklore that has been passed down through generations of students. Then we visit Schwab Auditorium, one of the university's most talked-about haunted locations. Students have reported apparitions, unexplained footsteps, voices, moving curtains, theater seats folding down on their own, and other strange activity. We'll also look at investigations conducted by Penn State's own paranormal research organization and the stories surrounding the spirits collectively nicknamed "Schwaboo." Across campus, the stories continue. At Old Botany, legend says Frances Atherton can sometimes be seen watching over her husband's grave. In Atherton Hall, students have reported mysterious footsteps, doors opening and closing, and the ghostly presence of a former dormitory house mother. And at Runkle Hall, particularly Room 318, stories of Ouija boards, poltergeist-like activity, shaking beds, unexplained noises, and other paranormal experiences have given the dorm a particularly creepy reputation. But perhaps the most disturbing story takes us to Pattee-Paterno Library. In 1969, 22-year-old Penn State graduate student Elizabeth "Betsy" Aardsma was murdered in the library stacks. Her case remains unsolved more than five decades later. We discuss what is known about the murder, the theories surrounding the case, and the paranormal experiences students have reported in the same area—including unexplained chills, feelings of being watched, apparitions, screams, shadowy figures, and other strange phenomena. We'll also explore reported hauntings at Tener Hall, Beam Hall, Hartranft Hall, and Brumbaugh Hall, along with firsthand accounts from members of Penn State's Paranormal Research Society. Throughout the episode, we take a look at the difference between ghost lore and firsthand paranormal experiences and why certain stories survive from one generation of students to the next. As folklorist and Penn State science writer Matt Swayne points out, sometimes these stories aren't simply about whether a ghost is real—they're about memory, community, caution, and the stories people choose to keep telling. So…is Penn State haunted? We'll leave that for you to decide. Turn down the lights, put on your headphones, and join us as we dive into the haunted history of Penn State University. Childhood Urban Legends | The Scary Stories We All Knew
2026/09/01
Send us Fan Mail Remember the scary stories everyone somehow knew as a kid? Bloody Mary in the bathroom mirror. The killer with a hook for a hand. The boyfriend who never came back to the car. The babysitter who discovers the terrifying phone calls are coming from inside the house. Long before TikTok, Reddit, or even the internet, these creepy childhood urban legends were already going viral. They traveled through school hallways, sleepovers, summer camps, playgrounds, and older siblings, changing just enough along the way that every town seemed to have its own version. In this episode of You Two Scare Me, Feliz and Andi head back to their school days to explore the origins of some of the most famous scary stories and urban legends we grew up hearing. We dig into the folklore behind Bloody Mary and the eerie mirror rituals that existed long before kids started summoning her in school bathrooms. Then we travel beyond the United States to meet Veronica, Spain's answer to the mirror legend, and Hanako-san, the ghostly Japanese schoolgirl said to haunt the third stall of a school bathroom. But not every childhood legend involves ghosts. We also explore classic American urban legends like The Hook, the horrifying tale of the boyfriend hanging above the car, and the infamous babysitter story that eventually inspired horror movies such as When a Stranger Calls. Along the way, we look at real crimes that have become connected to these stories, including the Texarkana Moonlight Murders and the tragic 1950 murder of thirteen-year-old babysitter Janett Christman—while separating documented history from folklore and speculation. Finally, a listener brings us another sleepover classic: the terrifying story often known as “Humans Can Lick Too.” If you ever slept with every inch of your body safely underneath the covers because of that story, you already know where this is going. Why did kids hundreds—or even thousands—of miles apart know the same scary stories before the internet existed? And why do legends about mirrors, bathrooms, escaped killers, babysitters, and things hiding beneath the bed continue to frighten generation after generation? Turn off the lights, grab a flashlight, and join us for a trip back to the scary stories of our childhood. 👻 Spirits with Spirits – Key West Paranormal Investigation Join Feliz and Andi for Spirits with Spirits, our intimate paranormal experience in haunted Key West. Haunted Library Ghost Stories: The Grey Lady, Full Body Apparitions & Unexplained Activity
2026/08/25
Send us Fan Mail What makes a library haunted? In this episode of the You Two Scare Me Podcast, Andi and Feliz explore five reportedly haunted libraries across the United States where ghostly figures, unexplained sounds, mysterious books, chilling encounters, and even paranormal video footage have left visitors wondering whether they are ever truly alone among the stacks. The journey begins at Willard Library in Evansville, Indiana, home of the legendary Grey Lady and a network of public ghost cams. Then we head to the Los Angeles Central Library, a landmark with a devastating arson history, eerie rumors, and an unexpected connection to Ghostbusters. In Baltimore, the grand George Peabody Library is said to be visited by a scholarly ghost who may still be helping readers find the right books. Andi and Feliz also investigate the Horne Library at South Piedmont Community College in North Carolina, where students documented strange activity, and Bangor Public Library in Maine, where a historic couch connected to Abraham Lincoln’s vice president is reportedly linked to a quiet, pale apparition. Are libraries haunted because they occupy old buildings, hold centuries of stories, and become quiet after dark—or is something unseen lingering between the shelves? Listen for ghost stories, haunted history, paranormal encounters, unexplained phenomena, and plenty of laughter as Andi and Feliz dive into the shadows.  Send us your own haunted library stories, ghost sightings, UFO encounters, cryptid experiences, shadow-people encounters, time slips, and other unexplained experiences at [email protected]. Lake Lanier Hauntings | The Lady of the Lake, Oscarville & the Dark History Beneath Georgia’s Deadliest Lake
2026/08/18
Send us Fan Mail Is Lake Lanier haunted? Georgia’s Lake Lanier has become one of the most infamous and allegedly haunted lakes in America, known for its drownings, deadly boating accidents, submerged roads and cemeteries, and chilling ghost stories. From the legendary Lady of the Lake to the history of Oscarville, the real stories behind the Lake Lanier hauntings may be even more disturbing than the paranormal legends. In this episode of You Two Scare Me, we explore the haunted history of Lake Lanier and the land that existed long before the reservoir was created in the 1950s. Beneath Lake Lanier are remnants of old roads, bridges, homes, trees, foundations, and burial grounds left behind when the valley was flooded to create the massive Georgia reservoir. We also dig into the history of Oscarville and the 1912 Forsyth County expulsion, when racial violence forced nearly every Black resident from Forsyth County. Long before Lake Lanier existed, this land had also witnessed the forced removal of Native Americans and generations of death, displacement, and loss. Then we get into the Lake Lanier ghost stories. One of the lake’s most famous legends is the Lady of the Lake, a mysterious woman in a blue dress reportedly seen near Brown’s Bridge. The legend is connected to the real 1958 disappearance of Delia May Parker Young and Susie Roberts. When a woman’s body was discovered in Lake Lanier the following year, investigators were unable to identify her. More than three decades later, the discovery of a submerged 1954 Ford finally helped solve the mystery and revealed the identity of the woman who had been buried as Jane Doe. But the Lady of the Lake is only one of Lake Lanier’s paranormal legends. Visitors and boaters have reported mysterious ghost lights moving across the water, voices calling for help when no one is there, strange sensations beneath the surface, unexplained mechanical problems, and even the sound of a church bell supposedly ringing from beneath Lake Lanier. With a history of drownings and boating deaths combined with submerged communities and decades of ghost stories, it isn’t hard to understand why Lake Lanier has earned such a dark reputation. And in this week’s Somebody Told Me, we leave Georgia and travel to Belize for an especially creepy listener story. Jemmy shares her terrifying childhood encounter with La Llorona, the legendary Weeping Woman, who appeared in the middle of a dark road before rushing directly toward her. In this episode: • Is Lake Lanier really haunted? • Lake Lanier deaths, drownings, and boating accidents • What is underneath Lake Lanier? • The creation and flooding of Lake Lanier • The history of Oscarville, Georgia • The 1912 Forsyth County expulsion • Cemeteries and graves beneath Lake Lanier • The Lady of the Lake ghost story • Delia May Parker Young and Susie Roberts • The mysterious woman in the blue dress • Brown’s Bridge ghost sightings • Lake Lanier ghost lights and paranormal activity • The legend of the underwater church bell • Haunted places in Georgia • A terrifying La Llorona encounter in Belize Is Lake Lanier cursed, haunted, or simply a dangerous lake surrounded by decades of tragedy and folklore? Whatever you believe, there is far more beneath the surface of Lake Lanier than water. Have a paranormal experience, ghost story, cryptid encounter, or other spooky story you'd like us to share? Haunted Ships | The Star of India & USS Hornet Ghost Stories
2026/08/11
Send us Fan Mail Set sail with us on this episode of theYou Two Scare Me Podcast as we explore the haunted histories of two of California's most legendary ghost ships: the Star of India, the world's oldest active sailing vessel, and the USS Hornet, a decorated WWII aircraft carrier turned paranormal hotspot. Recorded live from Key West, Florida, we're trading our tropical setting for a deep dive into cold spots, disembodied voices, and full-body apparitions haunting two very different- but equally haunted - ships. The Star of India: A Ghost Ship with 160 Years of History Originally launched in 1863 as the Euterpe, the Star of India survived a mutiny, a brutal cyclone in the Bay of Bengal, and the death of her captain at sea before becoming a New Zealand emigrant ship and later, San Diego's most famous maritime landmark. You'll hear the tragic legend of John Campbell, a 15-year-old stowaway who fell to his death from the ship's rigging in 1884, and whose presence is still reported near the mast today. This episode also covers: The unexplained death of a Chinese sailor found in the ship's chain locker in 1909A passenger's gruesome suicide in the First Mate's Cabin during a voyage to New ZealandModern-day reports of cold spots, phantom footsteps, disembodied voices, and the scent of bread baking in the long-abandoned galleyFull-body apparitions of 19th-century sailors seen on deck by visitors and security guardsToday, the Star of India is docked at the Maritime Museum of San Diego, where paranormal encounters continue to be reported by staff, tourists, and overnight school groups alike. The USS Hornet: From WWII Battle Hero to Haunted Museum Ship Next, we'll turn to the USS Hornet (CV-12), an Essex-class aircraft carrier commissioned in 1943. The Hornet earned nine battle stars during WWII, saw her air group credited with destroying over 1,400 Japanese aircraft, and later made history as the primary recovery ship for Apollo 11 — welcoming home astronauts Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, and Michael Collins with President Nixon aboard in 1969. With more than 300 deaths recorded over her 27 years of active service, the USS Hornet has earned a reputation as one of the most haunted museum ships in America. You'll hear firsthand accounts collected from decades of visitors, docents, and former crew, including: The infamous "Dress Whites Ghost" — a recurring sailor apparition seen throughout the shipA painter's encounter with two faceless sailors during the ship's 1990s restorationDisembodied male voices heard near the women's restroom sinks — later confirmed by a paranormal TV segmentA former crewman's eerie encounter with a phantom in a WWII-era fire roomA blue haze witnessed by over 30 guests during a Live Aboard overnight ghost tourAppearances on Ghost Hunters, Ghost Adventures, Scariest Places on Earth, and My Ghost StoryNow home to the USS Hornet Sea, Air and Space Museum in Alameda, California, the ship runs official paid ghost tours and "Grey Ghost Encounters" for visitors brave enough to spend the night. Somebody Told Me: A Grandmother's Ghostly Visit This episode's listener story comes from Johnny in New York, who shares a home security camera capture of what he believes is his late grandmother's spirit — appearing at her husband's back door just months after her passing in 2021. Grand Canyon Ghost Stories | Unsolved Disappearances, Declassified UFO Files & a Haunted Hotel
2026/07/28
Send us Fan Mail The Grand Canyon isn't just one of America's most iconic natural landmarks — it's also home to hundreds of unsolved disappearances, a decades-old UFO cover-up theory, and some of the most consistently reported ghost sightings of any national park in the country. In this episode of the You Two Scare Me Podcast, Andi and Feliz dive deep into the haunted history hiding beneath the canyon rim. We cover the eerie 1928 disappearance of newlyweds Glen and Bessie Hyde, who vanished mid-honeymoon while attempting to raft the entire Colorado River — their boat found intact, their bodies never recovered. We break down the infamous 1909 "Egyptian cavern" conspiracy theory and the Smithsonian cover-up rumors that still circulate today, plus declassified FBI files documenting real UFO sightings near the canyon in 1947 and 1954. We also honor the 128 lives lost in the tragic 1956 midair plane collision. This disaster  led to the creation of the FAA — and a lot of ghost stories. From the legendary hauntings of the El Tovar Hotel, where founder Fred Harvey allegedly still roams the halls, to the mysterious woman in white on the North Rim's Transept Trail and the ghostly gravesite of trail foreman Rees Griffiths, this episode is packed with firsthand accounts, historical records, and unexplained encounters from one of the most visited — and most haunted — places in America. Plus, listen to the incredible listener encounter with a Juju Man that Feliz shares in this week's Somebody Told Me segment. Perfect for fans of: true crime, unsolved mysteries, ghost stories, haunted America, national park history, UFO sightings, and paranormal podcasts. 👻 Got your own ghost story, cryptid encounter, or UFO sighting? The Crescent Hotel | Inside America's Most Haunted Hotel and the Cancer Hospital Hidden in Its Past
2026/07/21
Send us Fan Mail Before we get into this episode, we want to take a moment to acknowledge the passing of Elise Roenigk, owner of the 1886 Crescent Hotel and the 1905 Basin Park Hotel, who passed away on the morning of July 19, 2026. Elise and her husband Marty purchased the Crescent in 1997, and after Marty’s death in 2009, she continued that work on her own for another sixteen years. In 2022, Historic Hotels of America honored her with a Lifetime Achievement Award. The hotel described her as a familiar and supportive presence, known for her walks through the property, her conversations with employees and guests, and her genuine care for the people who made the hotel special. She considered her staff an extension of her family. Andi and I are visiting her hotels this week, and we will be carrying her memory with us when we do. The Crescent Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas has been called America's most haunted hotel for decades, and this episode explains why. We dig into the dark history hiding behind that title: a fraudulent cancer hospital run by a con man named Norman Baker, the forty two confirmed deaths that happened there in just two years, and the ghosts that are still being reported inside the building today. Built in 1886 by former Arkansas governor Powell Clayton, the Crescent Hotel started as the most opulent resort in the country, sitting on top of a mountain overlooking the town. Andi and Feliz walk through how the hotel fell into disrepair after the spa tourism boom faded, became a girls' boarding school, and then sat empty until Norman Baker showed up in 1937 with a radio station, a purple car, and a fake cure for cancer. Baker's Baker Hospital and Health Resort promised treatments for cancer without surgery, radium, or x-ray. What patients actually received was a mixture that included carbolic acid, the same compound used in Nazi concentration camps around the same period. The episode covers how Baker isolated patients from their families, forged their letters home, and hid the dying in a soundproofed wing of the hotel. It also covers the 2019 discovery that proved the decades of rumors were true, when a landscaper unearthed hundreds of medical bottles and jars buried on the property, leading to a full excavation by the University of Arkansas. From there, the episode moves into the hauntings the Crescent Hotel is famous for. Andi and Feliz cover Michael, the Irish stonemason believed to haunt room 218 and known for pulling back shower curtains. They talk about Theodora, a former cancer patient who tidies up room 419 and stacks loose coins by denomination. They also get into Breckie, a four year old ghost heard bouncing a ball through the halls, the scent of cherry pipe tobacco tied to the hotel's former physician, a Victorian gentleman seen at the lobby bar, and the basement morgue where Baker once stored human remains and where guests still report going faint. The episode closes with a new Somebody Told Me story about a child ghost spotted at Key West's La Concha Hotel, sent in through a friend of a friend. This episode is part of Andi and Feliz's upcoming trip to Eureka Springs, where they'll be staying at the Crescent Hotel and attending Obscuracon in person. Basin Park Hotel Ghosts: Haunted Eureka Springs, Arkansas Hotel History & True Ghost Stories
2026/07/14
Send us Fan Mail Is the Basin Park Hotel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas the most haunted hotel in the Ozarks? In this episode of You Two Scare Me, hosts Andi and Feliz dig into the real history and ghost stories behind this legendary haunted hotel. It was built in 1905 directly over the ashes of the Perry House, which burned down in 1890. Discover why Eureka Springs became a boomtown built on healing spring water, how Prohibition-era owner Joe Parkhill turned the hotel into a hideout for Chicago mobsters (rumored to include Al Capone's sister), and why every floor of this "fireproof" limestone building has its own ground-level entrance. Then it's time for the ghost stories! You'll hear about a sorrowful woman with pale blonde hair who wanders the halls, a little girl in a yellow dress spotted throughout the hotel, and the famous "cowboy ghost" of Room 310, believed to be cattle baron John Chisum. Hear real guest accounts of EVPs, unexplained EMF readings, vanishing mirrors, and a paranormal investigation that left a tour guide with unexplained marks on his throat. Plus, don't miss this week's "Somebody Told Me" segment, featuring a listener's true haunted house story from a 1880s college rental with a marimba-playing spirit and a basement room nobody could stand to enter. Haunted Amusement Parks: Cedar Point, Chernobyl, and the Ghost Children Who Never Got to Ride
2026/06/23
Send us Fan Mail Haunted amusement parks, abandoned theme parks, and paranormal activity at some of the most famous and terrifying amusement parks in the world — this episode of You Two Scare Me Podcast covers ghost sightings, unexplained phenomena, and dark histories across five locations on four continents. From the haunted hotel at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, to the ghost children of Chernobyl's Pripyat exclusion zone, these are the real paranormal stories behind the rides, the Ferris wheels, and the ruins that refuse to stay quiet. In this episode, Feliz and Andi take a global tour of haunted amusement parks, from the shores of Lake Erie to a contaminated Soviet city where a Ferris wheel has never carried a single passenger. Plus, they open the episode with some very interesting chatter about recent UFO disclosure news, a Brazilian psychic's prediction, and the Miami Mall incident. Places covered in this episode: Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio — America's Roller Coast sits on land that was first home to the indigenous Erie people, then used as a Civil War military outpost overlooking a Confederate prisoner of war camp. Inside the historic Hotel Breakers, room 169 has a dark history and decades of unexplained phenomena. On the property's old carousel, the ghost of a craftsman's devoted wife may still be riding her favorite horse after closing time. Lake Shawnee Amusement Park, Princeton, West Virginia — Long before a single ride was installed, this land in the heart of Appalachia was already soaked in blood. The story begins in 1783, runs through decades of tragedy during the park's operating years, and ends with the discovery that the whole property had been built on top of an ancient Native American burial site. The swings are still there. They still move. Enchanted Kingdom, Santa Rosa, Laguna, Philippines — The only world-class theme park in the Philippines carries the weight of the Japanese occupation of Laguna province during World War II. Security guards have reported a woman in period clothing standing near the Ferris wheel, looking at something no one else can see. Spreepark (formerly Culture Park Plänterwald), Berlin, Germany — This was the only permanent amusement park in East Germany. After the Wall fell, the park fell with it. The story of its last owner ends with a cocaine smuggling operation, a son sentenced to twenty years in a Peruvian prison, and a forty-five-meter Ferris wheel rotting in the forest. Pripyat, Ukraine — On April 26, 1986, Reactor Number Four at Chernobyl exploded. The city of Pripyat was evacuated within 36 hours. The amusement park at its center had been scheduled to open five days later. That yellow Ferris wheel has stood untouched in the exclusion zone ever since. Investigators have recorded what sounds like children laughing near it. The city's fifty thousand residents never came back. Somebody Told Me — Andi shares a story from Peyton, a Key West local living in one of the oldest houses on Rose Street, built by her boyfriend's great-grandfather. Steady knocking from inside a closed closet, a door that opened with no one behind it, an unexplained flash of light in the kitchen, and one very startling glimpse of a grandmother who passed away in the house.
