Cuffed 2 the Culture sits right where hilarious meets heartfelt, blending wit, warmth, and unfiltered honesty. Hosted by Nai and Rae, the show offers both laughter and a thoughtful perspective — because being a Black woman means being everything, all at once. Think of it as a front-row seat to the group chat you actually want to be in. Pop culture and personal growth. Nostalgia and hot takes. Career wins, therapy breakthroughs, dating chaos, and every messy, meaningful thing in between. Each episode, Nai and Rae go there — unpacking what it really looks like to move through womanhood, work, and the world without ever losing the thread back to the culture that raised us. Cuffed 2... Nikole Hannah-Jones' NYT Essay, A Different World Recap & Iced Coffee Debates
2026/09/28
Rae and Nai get real about the algorithm pushing unqualified dating coaches, and why beauty is a practice. Then they take on the great iced coffee debate after a recruiter on TikTok said bringing one to a job interview looks too casual, and ask when etiquette turns into respectability politics. Next, they break down Nikole Hannah-Jones' New York Times Magazine essay, "In Fighting for Every Black Child, Did I Betray My Own?", on sending her daughter to under-resourced Brooklyn public schools, and ask how much a parent's values should shape a child's education. Then it's back to Hillman with a spoiler-free review and a full spoiler breakdown of Netflix's A Different World, from Deborah and Shaquille to Rashida, Hazel, Kojo, and Amir. They close the week cuffed to Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip as a study of wealth, and Gail Bean in The Drop: A Snowfall Saga.
⚠️ Spoiler warning: A Different World spoilers start at 39:53.

Cuffed 2… Jasmine Crockett + Chris Brown, Bloodhound Q50’s Murder & Kandi + Todd’s Divorce Drama
2026/09/21
Joseline Hernandez sat down with Shannon Sharpe and got real about her addiction, sobriety, and why she’s thanking Faith Evans for taking Stevie J off her hands. Jasmine Crockett honored Chris Brown during his tour stop in Texas, sparking backlash and a debate about whether his talent and impact should outweigh his history. Bloodhound Q50’s murder leads Rae and Nai into a much heavier conversation about Chicago drill culture, protecting Black boys, and who’s responsible for stepping up for young Black men. Then Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker’s divorce gets even messier when Todd links up with the ex-men of RHOA and starts telling details from their marriage.
Rae and Nai kick it off getting real about locking in before 30, from debt, retirement and buying a home to mobility, stamina and keeping their knees intact. Then they come in HOT: can rejection really be protection, can someone like Chris Brown ever be redeemed, what are we doing to save our Black boys, and when does telling your side of a divorce become tacky? They close it out Cuffed 2 Nia Long getting her Hollywood Walk of Fame star, Mary Cosby’s return to RHOSLC, and Howard women making amazing strides in entrepreneurship and entertainment.

Cuffed 2… Fat Joe’s N-Word Debate, Papoose’s Remy Ma Diss & Deiondra + Jacquees’ Co-Parenting Wars
2026/09/14
Fat Joe says growing up in hip-hop gives him a pass to use the N-word, but Marc Lamont Hill says proximity to Black culture doesn’t make you Black. Papoose dropped a diss track aimed at Remy Ma, leaving Rae and Nai yapping about if telling your side of the break-up story can start looking a lot like not moving on. And between Deiondra Sanders and Jacquees, Cardi B and Offset, and Chingy’s son speaking out, the co-parenting conversations are getting complicated. Rae and Nai kick it off with getting real about turning 30 and the weird space between being grateful for the life you have while still longing for more, then come in HOT: who gets access to Black culture, is financial support is enough to make someone an active parent, and what Europe does better than America vs. America definitely does better than Europe.

Cuffed 2... Beyoncé's Birthday! Yes, We Are A Part of That Lady's Beyhive
2026/09/07
9... 4... 8... 1... B'DAY! Happy birthday to the Queen! Beyoncé we love you! This week, Rae and Nai celebrate Beyoncé's birthday with a full special: their most personal Beyoncé moments, a spicy round of One Gotta Go (Yvette or Julius, DC3 or DC4, Mama Tina or Matthew Knowles, and the messiest Beyoncé moments of all time), and their official Beyoncé Mount Rushmore — song, performance, movie, and album, argued out one category at a time. Real talk, real nostalgia, and a whole lot of hive business, the way only Cuffed 2 the Culture does it. We are DEF in that lady's Beyhive and we love it!

Cuffed 2… the Duke PA Catfish, Sabrina Brier’s Friendship Skit & Joey Bada$$ Cheating
2026/08/31
Dolly Parton got her flowers this week. A girl on TikTok got caught faking two years at Duke's PA program, fake graduation photos and all. Serayah found out her fiancé Joey Bada$$ was cheating, and she found out the hard way. And somewhere in the middle of all that, Rae admits she once catfished some people too. Rae and Nai start with Nai's move out of DTLA and a scary run-in Rae had on the train, then get into all of it: the PA school lie nobody saw coming, the friendship debate Sabrina Brier's TikTok kicked off, and why "I changed him" is not where a woman's worth should come from.

Cuffed 2... Things Worth the Money, Jay-Z Tix vs $10K, Durand Bernarr & More Social Media Debates
2026/07/20
This week, Rae and Nai are Cuffed 2... the comments, pulling from the group chat, the timeline, and everything in between. They kick things off with the viral "worth it" trend, naming the purchases, memberships, and even a $40K Howard University education they'd pay for again without blinking. From there, they get into the internet's biggest debates: Jay-Z's 25th Blueprint anniversary and whether $10K beats a once-in-a-lifetime show, the online back and forth between the girls who used to clown makeup and the ones asking for tutorials now, Durand Bernarr's threads on fame and boundaries, and where the line sits between helping family and being taken advantage of.

Comin in Hot: Love Island Dating Labels, Tamar vs. Kandi, Cheetah Girls Revival & Black Emmy Noms
2026/07/13
Rae and Nai are coming in hot this week! The timeline was working overtime okayyyy, and the group chat had ALOT to say.
First up is Love Island USA. A debate over "exclusive dating" versus a situationship has Rae and Nai going down a rabbit hole of modern dating "labels". They break down courting, talking, tricking, exclusivity, and why today's dating vocab has everybody doing too much and confused.
Then they get into the Atlanta social circles, where Tamar Braxton found her beef with Kandi and Monica on display after a tense Essence Fest moment went viral. Rae and Nai unpack the LONG history behind the drama, whether Tamar's feelings about people auditioning for The Real were justified, and they ask the bigger question: if your friend's job opens up, is it wrong to go after it?
Next, Disney announced the cast for the next generation of The Cheetah Girls, and Rae and Nai have.... thoughts. They discuss why the original films meant SO much to Black and Brown girls, why diveristy in appearance is important, and share the moments from the OG Cheetah Girls that shaped their childhoods.
The episode wraps with this year's Emmy nominations as Rae and Nai celebrate the Black creatives who are making history, from Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Sally Richardson-Whitfield to Quinta Brunson, Janelle James, Sterling K. Brown, and more. Because as always... Cuffed Clique we're rooting for everybody Black!!!

Comin in Hot: India.Arie vs Spend Dat, Chloe on CHD, BET Awards Druski & KeKe, Taylor Swift Wedding
2026/07/06
Rae and Nai are coming in hot this week! The timeline was giving them everything from India.Arie discussing the influence of music on our well-being to Taylor Swift's extravagant wedding discourse, and they're breaking it all down.
First up: India.Arie vs. Yung Miami. After India called out Yung Miami's "Spend Dat" lyrics, Rae and Nai unpack whether artists should be held responsible for the messages in their music, where the line between entertainment and influence really is, and why this debate never seems to end.
Then they get into Chloe Bailey's appearance on Call Her Daddy. From constant comparisons to Halle and finding her own identity in the spotlight, she discusses the pressure of being both solo and half of a beloved duo. Nai and Rae tap into what they want to see from the Bailey sisters as both individuals and them as a group.
Next, it's Druski and Keke Palmer at the BET Awards. Keke jokingly said the hosting job should've been hers, sparking a bigger conversation: in the age of TikTok and viral fame, when does internet success translate into traditional entertainment opportunities? Are content creators earning these roles, or are industry veterans getting overlooked?
Finally, they wrap things up with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's rumored wedding details. From dream venues to wedding budgets, Rae and Nai debate just how extravagant is too extravagant on your big day.

Comin' in Hot: Jay-Z's Cecred Vlog, Tia Mowry's New Boo, the N-Word Debate & June’s Black Media
2026/06/29
Rae and Nai are coming in hot this week! The week had TOO much going on, chile.
They break down Beyoncé's Cécred vlog "The Blueprint," the intimate moment that had everyone talking: Jay-Z combing out his locs, the backstory behind why he grew them, and what it means to see a Black father affirm his daughter's beauty through action, not words. They also discuss what Beyoncé's brand play says about the product and whether the Cécred era might be stealing her from the stage.
Then things get personal. Tia Mowry's new man sparked a whole conversation about first loves, marrying young, and what it looks like to actually manifest a partner. Rae and Nai both share their own first love confessions and what they would and wouldn't do differently.
And the Twitter debate: a viral tweet about growing up in an "N-word household" had the internet split. Rae and Nai share where they stand and what it actually says about how Black families have been shaped over generations.
The episode wraps with the June Black Media Roundup. Nai spotlights Elmiene and Alicia Keys' Hell's Kitchen musical. Rae gives her flowers to the Black women honored this month, including Chaka Khan and Kelly Rowland at the Black Women in Music Dinner.

Cuffed 2… Tay Keith, Michelle Obama, BET Show Revivals & Award Show Performances as Zodiacs.
It’s BET Awards month and we are fully leaning into it. This week for Comin' in Hot, we’re sending love to the late Tay Keith and his loved ones, gushing over Michelle Obama’s speech at the opening of Barack’s presidential library, and breaking down BET’s Comic View revival.
Then we get into the main event. We’re pitching the BET shows we would bring back if we ran the network for a day. Baldwin Hills needs a franchise era. Hell Date needs Druski as a host and commentator. We have hella opinions per usual!
We close it out ranking some of the most iconic BET Awards performances of all time, but make it zodiac signs! From Ciara’s jump split (Aries) to Kanye taking us to church (Pisces), we matched every sign to the performance that fits them best.
The BET Awards air June 28th. Make it an event.
