S1E4 — Meadowlands
2026/10/25
Meadowlands. Named for a swamp, a stadium and a whole lot of places to put things nobody's supposed to find. Fitting, because this is the hour where the show starts burying its secrets in plain sight.
Tony's getting paranoid about therapy. Who saw him walk in? What does Melfi actually know? So he does what any reasonable man would do and has a crooked cop follow his psychiatrist, which goes exactly as badly as you'd hope. Meanwhile Christopher is still shaking from his mock execution, and then he and Adriana walk into the worst thing that's happened to anyone so far.
Jackie's gone, there's an empty chair at the top, and everyone's waiting to see if Tony and Junior go to war over it. Instead, Tony pulls the cleanest move of the season: give the old man the crown, keep the money, and let the feds point their cameras at somebody else.
The Doctor of Podcasting and Mike White of The Projection Booth break down the Junior handoff, the Makazian mess, A.J. learning what his last name buys him, and Meadow giving the class a quick lesson at the funeral.
Episode four. And yeah… Tony just learned the most useful thing a boss can know: the title is the target.

S1E3 — Denial, Anger, Acceptance
2026/08/04
Denial, Anger, Acceptance. That's three stages out of five. Chase skipped bargaining and depression — and by the end of this hour you get why. Nobody in this world gets to bargain. And depression isn't a stage here. It's the climate.
Jackie's sick, and everyone's perfecting the art of talking around it. Tony picks up a side job he doesn't fully understand and finishes it as something he understands even less. Christopher and Brendan learn the difference between getting noticed and getting valued — one of them faster than the other. And Carmela hosts a party where the most expensive thing served is a single sentence.
Then there's the ending. A few minutes, barely a word spoken, and television quietly moves on without asking permission. Episode three. And yeah… acceptance is the last stage for a reason.

S1E2 — 46 Long
2026/06/05
Alright, so now we know what this thing is—and Chase immediately starts messing with it.
Tony’s trying to juggle about six different fires, all of which he either started or made worse. Christopher thinks he deserves more. Brendan thinks he definitely deserves more, which is how you know that’s not going to end well. Meadow’s pushing. Carmela’s clocking everything. And Livia… Livia is already playing a completely different game than everyone else.
This is where the show starts widening out a bit. The business gets messier. The family gets louder. And the line between the two? Not even a line—more like a suggestion.
Also, this is where you start to realize “remember when” isn’t just nostalgia on this show—it’s leverage. And people are already using it.
We get into all of it—the small moves, the early tells, the stuff that feels minor now but absolutely is not. The foundation’s getting poured, whether anyone realizes it or not.
Episode two.
And yeah… this is where it starts to feel inevitable.

S1E1 — The Sopranos
2026/04/30
S1E1 — The Sopranos. Which, if you think about it, is a hell of a thing to name your pilot. Not "Welcome to Jersey" or "Meet the Sopranos" — just, the name of the show, staring back at you, completely unbothered. That's Chase telling you exactly what kind of show this is going to be before a single frame has rolled.
Tony's falling apart and he doesn't entirely know why. The ducks left. Melfi's listening. Livia's already doing permanent damage and we're twenty minutes in. Junior's got that look. Carmela's got that other look. And somehow, against all odds, you're already in. You're already invested in this man who you probably shouldn't be rooting for and almost certainly will be anyway.
We break it all down. The stuff you caught, the stuff you didn't, and the stuff Chase hid in plain sight for six seasons.
This is episode one. Of eighty six. Buckle up.
