You Have Arrived
2026/09/24
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from John 14:1–6. The disciples were troubled, confused, and unsure of where Jesus was leading them. But Jesus didn’t simply give them directions—He gave them Himself. He declared, “I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life.” Thomas wanted Jesus to give him a road; Jesus told him the road had already arrived. Salvation isn’t found in knowing the right directions, being good enough, or religious enough. Jesus is the Way. The question is: Do you trust Him enough to follow where He leads?
They Missed It!
2026/09/14
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from John 11:1–46. Everyone knew Jesus had power—but they still missed who He was. At Lazarus’s tomb, Jesus didn’t simply say He could give life; He declared, “I am the Resurrection and the Life.” When everything else reaches its limit, Jesus does not. The question is not simply, “Do you believe Jesus can?” The question is: Do you believe Jesus is who He says He is?
How good is Good?
2026/09/10
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from John 10:11–18. Jesus doesn’t simply call Himself a shepherd—He says, “I am the Good Shepherd.” He leads His sheep, protects His sheep, provides for His sheep, and ultimately lays down His life for His sheep. How good is the Good Shepherd? Look at the cross. The question is: Do you know the Shepherd?
Love is an Open Door
2026/09/02
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from John 10:1–10. Jesus doesn’t simply show us the door to salvation—He says, “I am the Door.” There is only one way to salvation, abundant life is found in Christ alone, and knowing about the Door is not enough. The question is: Have you entered?
This Little Light of Mine
2026/08/24
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from John 8:12. When Jesus declared, “I am the Light of the World,” He revealed that He alone can expose the darkness we cannot see, lead us out of that darkness, and shine through our lives to a world desperately in need of Him. We don’t create the light—we simply reflect the One who is the Light. May this message challenge you to follow Jesus closely and let His light shine through your life.
The Question that Changes Everything
2026/08/18
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from John 6:35 and John 8:58. Before we can understand what Jesus gives, we must first understand who He is. Jesus is not merely a teacher, prophet, or moral example—He is the eternal God and the Bread of Life. In a world filled with things that promise satisfaction but always leave us hungry, only Christ can satisfy the deepest longing of the human soul. May this message help you know Jesus more clearly, trust Him more deeply, and answer the question that changes everything: Do you know Him?
It was for Freedom
2026/08/03
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church on July 5 from Galatians 5:1. The freedom Jesus gives is greater than anything this world can offer. Christ frees us from sin’s penalty, breaks sin’s power over our lives, and frees us to walk daily in the Holy Spirit. May this message encourage you to stop living like a prisoner and begin living in the freedom Christ has already purchased for you.
Put in a Sunroof
2026/07/27
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from Mark 2:1–12. In a world filled with barriers, God is still looking for believers who refuse to quit. Through the story of the four friends who lowered a paralyzed man through the roof, we discover what it means to live on mission, love people enough to carry them to Christ, and trust Jesus with the results. May this message strengthen your faith and encourage you to ask, "Who is waiting on me to put in a sun roof?"
It's A Jungle Out There
2026/07/21
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church from Ephesians 2:1–10. In a world that is constantly asking, "Who am I?" God gives a far better answer. Discover how Christ transforms us from spiritually dead sinners into His workmanship, created for His purposes. May this message strengthen your faith and help you live confidently in your identity in Christ.
Where You Headed
2026/07/06
This sermon was preached at Lisbon Baptist Church on May 31st. The text was Acts 8:25-40. I pray the Lord uses it in your walk with Him.
Don't Forget to Remember
2026/06/01
This is the sermon from Lisbon Baptist Church on Memorial Day weekend. The passage preached was Deuteronomy 8:2-20. I pray God uses this in your life.
