641 What if I deny Jesus? wk 27 102526
2026/10/26
Sunday, October 25th What if I deny Jesus?Mark 14:27-72We are in the last 3 weeks of our study through the Gospel of Mark. So many things happen in these last three weeks. If you have someone that you have been working to introduce to Jesus, then these next few weeks would be a great time to invite them in and watch or listen with you. The love of Christ, the love of God has never been on greater display than it is over these next few chapters.
639 Be Ready wk 25 100426
2026/10/05
Sunday, October 4th    Be Ready Mark 12:35-13:37   At the end of Mark 12 Jesus shares an important truth with the religious leaders.  A truth that their hero David fully believed but one they rejected.  The reality that their Messiah will be morethan just a human; He will in fact be God in the flesh.  Why is it so important to believe that Jesus was fully God and fully human?  Jesus follows that with a detailed answer about the destruction of Jerusalem, the end times, and His promised return.  His words are meant to encourage, and they all revolve around one theme, Be Ready.

Sunday, September 27th Jesus is not afraid of your questionsMark 12:13-34In the days leading up to Jesus’ arrest and crucifixion, the Elders, Chief Priests, Teachers of the Law, and others kept asking Jesus questions. Most were in an attempt to try and trick Jesus into giving an answer that He could be arrested for. Jesus knew their motives and yet He took time to answer them anyway. If Jesus knew that the hearts of those asking the questions were not sincere, but He listened and gave them powerful answers anyway, then why do we hesitate to ask Him questions? He will listen. He will answer in His time and in His way. So please, ask Jesus.
637 I know what you are going to do wk 23

Sunday, September 20th Worship at the Park!I know what you are going to do…Mark 11:27-33, Mark 12:1-12 This week Jesus is confronted by a group of leaders who are challenging His authority. Instead of just answering their questions, Jesus asks them a question that proves to be too difficult for them to answer. He then shares a parable that lays out exactly what those leaders have done throughout history and what they are planning on doing to Him later that very same week. Jesus knew what was coming, yet He willingly submitted to it for you and for me.
636 What was it like to be with Jesus? wk 22 091326
2026/09/14
Sunday, September 13th 10:00 a.m.What was it like to be with Jesus?Mark 11:1-25As we continue through the book of Mark, I want you to imagine what it must have been like to be one of the disciples. Chosen by Jesus to follow Him. Leaving your old life behind. Truly not knowing exactly where all this would lead. And now you are 3 years into this journey. As we see the events of chapter 11 unfold, what would it have been like to be one of His disciples?
634 Divorce, the kids and priorities wk 20 083026

Sunday, August 30 Mark 10:1-31   When you preach through books of the Bible, one of the greatblessings is that, sooner or later, you will preach on every subject imaginable. But one of the harder aspects is that, sooner or later, you will preach on every subject imaginable. There is no way to avoid topics such as the one before us today. And that is ok.  In fact, it is exactly what Jesus wants us to do.
633 I want to be first wk 19 082326

Sunday, August 23 10:00 a.m.Mark 9:33-50I want to be first! How long does it take to learn to be selfish? To be really honest, we are born that way. But at that point it is not a bad thing. It is actually a survival mechanism. As an infant, the world must revolve around us. We have to have everyone do everything for us, or else we would not survive. The problem is that some of us never put that phase of life behind us. In today’s text, Jesus takes a moment of selfishness from the lives of the disciples and turns it into a lesson in authentic discipleship.
632 Just a Glimpse wk 18 081626

Mark 9:1-32                                                    Just a glimpse…   Have you ever just gotten a glimpse of something?  You did not get to fully see it or take it all in, but you got to see it for a moment. What would you like to get a glimpse of? Many want to get a glimpse of things we are interested in, people thatfascinate us, places that don’t even look real in pictures.  What is so special about getting a glimpse of something?  I know what it is for me.  It makes it real.  Be honest, have any of us ever said that about Jesus?  Would you love to get a glimpse of His face? Wouldn’t it be awesome to hear one of His teachings live, in person or to see one of His miracles as He performed it?  Good news!  If you are a follower,a disciple of Jesus.  If you have given your life to Him and you fully trust in Him for your forgiveness, salvation, and the promise He made that He will come back again.  Then you and I will get to fully experience His presence for all eternity!  But till then we can read about accounts like this one in Mark 9.

2026/08/10
Sunday, August 9 10:00 a.m.Mark 8:27-38 Because You are then I mustThis week marks a turning point in the book of Mark. The first 8 chapters covers 3 years of Jesus’ ministry. The last 8 chapters cover the final week of Jesus’ life. Now it is time for Mark to bring everything into focus. To share with them the full story of this Jesus that they have come to believe in, to have faith in, to rely upon for the forgiveness of their sins, through whom they can talk with God and from whom they receive the Holy Spirit. What unfolds in the next 8 chapters gave them and all of us the strength to live today and hope for all eternity!
630 Why don't we get it? wk 16 080226
2026/08/03
Sunday, August 2 Mark 8:1-26 Why don’t we get it? wk 16   Honestly, when you read the Bible, do you find it hard tounderstand?  When you hear a message, are there times when it seems like it is hard to apply the teaching to your life?  Be honest, it's ok.  I have these struggles at times. Sometimes atext just won’t click.  I have read things and wondered why they are even in the Bible in the first place?  We have to realize that when we read the Word or hear the Word proclaimed, we have a role to play.   We are not called to just show up.  We must prepare our hearts to receive the Word of God.  We must open our minds to whatever God might choose to reveal to us. Check our hearts.  When we read, or we come to church, are we ready to receive the Word of God?  Have we prayed for God to reveal Himself to us today?
629 Clean Hands or Clean Heart? 072626
2026/07/27
Sunday, July 26th Mark 7:1-37Clean hands or Clean heart?Who did Jesus come for? It is a question that goes all the way back to when He was walking the Earth. The answer has not changed. He came for you.
628 All He wants is all you have...and He is all that you need wk 14 071926
2026/07/20
Sunday, July 12 10:00 a.m.Mark 6:30-56Today we get to share one of the most well-known miracles of Jesus. This one resonated with the people in a big way. Through it, Jesus was able to provide for everyone’s most basic need: food. It was one thing to watch others be healed. But in this case, what Jesus did was for everyone there. This miracle also appears in all 4 gospels. This reminds us of a great rule to remember when studying Scripture: if it is repeated, it is important. What does this miracle tell us about Jesus and who He longs to be in our lives?

Sunday, July 5 10:00 a.m.Mark 6:1-13Happy 250th birthday, America! What a blessing it is to live in this country. Is it perfect? Not even close. There are about 349 million reasons why our nation could never be perfect. But the miracle resides in the truth that our nation was, in fact, established under God. In spite of all of the imperfections, that truth is the sole reason that America still exists today. This country is special. It is set apart in so many ways. Unfortunately, very few people realize this truth anymore, and even fewer realize how quickly a nation like ours could cease to exist. We have something to celebrate, but more importantly, we have a nation to pray for and strive to bring back to God.This week, we will continue our journey through the Gospel of Mark as we watch Jesus’ return to His hometown for the first time since His ministry began. How would those who knew Him best receive Him? The outcome might not be what you would expect. What can we learn from the way they treated Jesus? Also this week, Jesus sends out the 12 for the first time on their own. He gives them an interesting set of “rules” to follow. How do those apply to us as we share the Gospel with the people in our lives? We can’t wait to share it all with you!
624 The storms will come wk 10 062126
2026/06/22
Sunday, June 21 10:00 a.m. Mark 4:35-5-20 The storms will come… At the end of Mark 4 Jesus challenges the disciples to dosomething new.  Something that was likely very uncomfortable for them.   Probably something that made all of them a bit uneasy.   Then after Jesus challenges them, He goes to sleep and they all nearly drown?  The storms of life come up on us in an instant. All it takes is one phone call, text, diagnosis, or conversation and life goes from calm to chaos in moments. Jesus longs to help us prepare for these times the best we can, but even more than that He longs to help us through the storms of life when they come.
623 The Power of Story wk 9 061426

Sunday, June 14 10:00 a.m.Mark 4:1-34 The power of story There is power in story. You know that. You have felt that from books you have read, movies you have seen, plays you have watched. We still believe in the power of the stories Jesus shared to change our eternity!
