We often talk about Clever Dick Films, the data (and humor) packed Doctor Who YouTube channel that analyzes the different eras of the program. It's past time to spend time with the face behind the channel - Richard Carrier. Richard recently went from behind the camera to in front of it with his recent appearance on "The Chase." He talks about his experience as a contestant with Who alum host Bradley Walsh, his visit to the London-based "The Who Shop," and his visit to the immersive experience "Doctor Who: Time Fracture." Alex Kingston is Moll Flanders! Our favorite Whovian actors have a wide filmography - so we look into one of our favorites, River Song herself, in a 1996 mini-series, "The Fortunes and Misfortunes of Moll Flanders." Alex Kingston plays the titular role, based on the Daniel Defoe novel, as she seeks to be a "gentlewoman" in a society that pushes back against women. The four episodes span a wide assortment of romances and adventures (and children!) that leave their mark on Alex's performance. In our look into the TARDIS library, the couple examine the Academy Award-winning short film written and directed by the 12th Doctor, Peter Capaldi, "Franz Kafka's It's a Wonderful Life."

"Staged" - Series One Television in 2020 was quite different, due to the pandemic. But there was one show that fully embraced the reality and ... made a comedy out of it. "Staged," starring the Tenth Doctor himself, David Tennant, and Michael Sheen, made the most of COVID restriction by embarking on six hilarious episodes in its first series. We talk about the characters/actors and how it worked. In our look into the TARDIS library, we looked at a child of "Who", Sean Pertwee, and his appearance in the American show "Elementary."

Tenth Doctor Specials It was the end of an era in "Doctor Who." When showrunner Russell T. Davies announced he would be stepping down from the revived show, fans were further rocked when David Tennant later stated he would be leaving the TARDIS too. So what was left to do? Law & Order: UK Those Whovian actors pop up in other series all the time, but maybe the greatest collection can be found in the rare U.S. to U.K.-made television show, "Law & Order: UK." From American producer Dick Wolf, stories ripped from its American counterpart are acted out on the streets of London by "Doctor Who" companions "Law" actor Bradley Walsh and "Order" actress Freema Agyeman. We discuss series 1 and 2 (inexplicable labeled "season one" on the U.S. DVD) of this procedural show, its other Who connections, and how this American show works as a British legal drama.

Series Four - The Tennant Era First Time Who Watcher Charlynn Schmiedt once again joins to talk about her new experiences watching "old" Who. This time it's series four - which can be defined in a few ways; we discuss the episodes from "Partners in Crime" to "The Next Doctor" special. There's new(ish) companion Donna Noble, the re-appearances of Rose Tyler and Martha Jones, and an epic reunion of all companions and Dalek enemies at the end.
