Cardiovascular health during pregnancy is predictive of pregnancy outcomes and long-term health outcomes postpartum. Gestational diabetes or hyperglycemia during pregnancy are associated with greater risk of pre-eclampsia, cesarean section, and the long-term risk of type-2 diabetes. This study examined the associations of body composition and physical fitness in this regard.
