Just when we think we've found rock bottom, we find a way to dig deeper and unearth the most abhorrent trash cinema buried in the bowels of the internet. This week, Steve forces everyone to watch a deranged, three-hour, one-man show that lands somewhere between s****y Tom Clancy novel and lunatic/conspiracy theory YouTube rant. Miros counters with what we can only assume is a CIA PsyOp. Or maybe it's just an hour-long video of a couple of Ukrainian guys banging toy dinosaurs together and mumbling.

Caustic Content wades into uncharted territory, abandoning our usual trash films this week in favor of the worst streaming stand-up comedy we could dredge up. COVID-19 cinema has officially established itself as its own genre, flooding various streaming services with extended Zoom calls sprinkled with bits of stock footage. And, as everyone knows, you can only make a film during the coronavirus pandemic if it's about a global pandemic. What else is there in the world? This week, we're pitting two Covid flicks against each other. For the first time in Caustic Content history, Steve chooses a direct sequel to a film he's never seen (Save Rosemary Too) and begs the question, "What if Orphan Black was completely unwatchable?" Miros counters with the only Covid-inspired faux-documentary that dares to dream of a world run by the Yang Gang (SARS-29). This week, Steve channels the power of THE TROOPS and tries to stop his unprecedented losing streak with A Warm Wind, a heartwarming tale about how we all need to believe that the Iraq War kicked ass. Maybe patience is rewarded, or maybe a broken clock is just right twice a day. Either way, Caustic Content may have unintentionally stumbled onto a pair of completely fine examples of microbudget independent cinema. Or maybe they're still shit. It's impossible to tell what's actually good anymore. This week Steve heads back to the show's old standby (cheaply made midwestern horror) with the Wisconsin Northwoods slasher, Attack of the Tattie-Bogle. In the spirit of podcast variety and keeping our brains from melting out of our skulls, we've temporarily banned films from Amazon Prime Video. Both Steve and Miros found refuge in trash cinema from Tubi, a free streaming service that breaks up your film-watching experience commercials so you can take a moment to think about the choices you've made. This week, Steve chose Sex Pot (2009), a self-proclaimed comedy and our first film from the legendary film distributor, The Asylum. Miros counters with the ultra-high contrast sci-fi/horror/action/exploitation head-scratcher, Powerplegic (2013).

This week, the magic of animation comes to Caustic Content. Join us for a head-to-head battle between a deranged CGI nightmare (Wizard So So: Fun Magical Adventure) and what we can only assume is a cult recruitment tool created in PowerPoint (The First Armageddon).

Can we get any lower than rock bottom? Sure, why not. This week we pit a self-proclaimed INTERACTIVE court drama (We the Jury) against a "documentary" about a meth addict grotesquely eating french fries at a local McDonalds (Nutty's Cheeseburger & A Nap).

This week, a christian psychological thriller made for $20 in an abandoned house (The Curse of Eve) tries to beat out a hyper-conservative "comedy" from a humorless narcissist (Zidane Adams: The Black Blogger).
