Victoria has dedicated a large portion of her life to aiding those who were not in a position to help themselves. She has several degrees and certifications which also include a Paralegal Degree, ASL Masters, First Aid/AED/CPR, Tracheostomy Certification, 2 Black Belts in mixed Martial Arts and am currently furthering my studies through online classes at Yale. She speaks to groups of domestic violence survivors as well as advocates for both survivors as well as special needs families. As an accomplished author, she works throughout the year to help bring awareness along with toys for the special needs communities. Both her daughter and Victoria have been featured on TV advocating for those with challenging abilities and also with abused women. Having become a survivor has made her into a "Pitbull". I interviewed Jim Marshall Jim is an author and developer of the Septemics system, which is a system based on the Hierarchies of Human Phenomena Analysis, Prediction and Management of Human Affairs. He holds several degrees and Graduated from St. Francis Xavier College Prep, New York City, a school for advanced students, age 17. I interviewed Mary J. Held. Mary's life was almost totally shut down due to seizures. She didn’t know she had complex PTSD, mainly from sexual assaults. She was misdiagnosed with stress, epilepsy, and finally conversion disorder. The talk therapy for conversion disorder helped her some, and she went from five years of being unable to work to working nine hours a week, with a few additional forays out into the world After five years of the half-life and 10 total years with seizures, she knew she wanted more. Someone suggested she try a therapy called Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). After 16 EMDR sessions, she processed numerous traumas and regained her joy in living. Her book, Unfreezing Trauma: My Personal Journal of EMDR Recovery tells the story of her journey out of the darkness Mary was born and raised in southern Ohio in a very Catholic family. She went to Michigan State University and upon graduation, went into social work. Although those were happy, productive years, alcohol was beginning to cause problems in her life. After a few years in social work, she developed into an alcoholic and that addiction became her life. When she finally got sober, she went back to MSU for a degree in physics but changed her major to mathematics. She found her passion in teaching remedial mathematics. For years her life went well, but both her childhood and adult traumas were still there. There came a day when, as she later described, ” a wall in my mind started to crack”. She began having seizures, which gradually became worse until she basically stayed at home most of the time. Then came the recommendation that she try EMDR. She read about it, and found a great therapist—and after four months of therapy, she regained her life. Part of her therapy was keeping a journal. When she finished the therapy, she wanted to use her journal to tell the world about EMDR and ensure that others consumed with trauma would know there was a way out. Her therapist agreed and contributed her comments to the sessions. But Mary was overwhelmed by the thought of publishing her private thoughts and the whole mechanics of getting published. She went on in her life, teaching math, staying sober, and enjoying friends and family, but the book was still in the back of her mind. Then fifteen years later, she witnessed the heroic testimony of Christine Blasey Ford and the #MeToo movement. Inspired by the bravery of women going public with their stories, she finally pushed herself to finish her book. She is publishing it to give hope to all the people who suffer from PTSD as well as their family members, friends, and therapists. After finishing the therapy sessions presented in her book, Mary earned her Master’s degree at Michigan State University in Higher, Adult, and Lifelong Education received a post-graduate certification as a Developmental Educator and developed a nationally recognized program to help students upgrade their math skills for college. I interviewed Radavie Riom. Radavie was deeply affected by her childhood traumas. Although she was one of nine children, she felt singled out by her mother who continually targeted her with judgment, blame, and threats. She was even accused by her mother of her difficult childbirth. While growing up, her mother would threaten to sell Radavie in the market. There was also physical abuse. She withdrew from her family spending most of her early years alone. Being a highly sensitive person, allowed Radavie to see and feel things that others could not. In her sadness, she would comfort herself by staying alone and living in her world of contemplation. She continued asking, “Why was I born?” “What is the meaning of life?” She desperately wanted to understand and know God. She held the thought of God so deeply that it was the ribbon of light that weaved through the tapestry of her life. Radavie entered the world of business and started two successful enterprises. Yet, this was not enough to fill her deep yearning for God. So she walked away from the business world to follow and fulfill her deep and mysterious calling to come home to Spirit. A breakthrough came when she was in her late thirties. In the midst of a deep and painful emotional relationship, the wounded little girl whom she rejected all those years suddenly appeared before her. She had no choice but to face her. In spite of the desire to continue being separate, she now had to release the wounded past and experience the emotions held by the little girl. That was her path to freedom and completely shifted her self-perception. In that instant a veil lifted and she was Spiritually Awakened: she experienced that her essential nature was never the wounded child and that the doubts and fears that she held as her identity, were never who she was. Spirit refers to Radavie as “Mother to the Wounded Children.” Her desire is to serve others who are ready to free themselves from haunting and stuck memories. Radavie serves from her soul’s contract by assisting her clients in the way she healed her own wounds. Healing the adult starts with healing the child. As a highly sensitive person, her intuition and devotion, coupled with Divine Guidance, are the life spring from which she serves clients to live a more awakened life. For 30 years Radavie has served thousands to release the veils of who they are not. From her own experience, she has realized that our tender hearts cannot experience true peace until the True Self, the Divine Spark that we are is unveiled. Radavie’s search for God has ended. I interviewed Lois Hollis, RN BSN REV. Lois is an author, blogger, a Shame/Guilt Educator, Counselor, and now Filmmaker. She discovered that shame and guilt join forces to create 24-hour negativity that causes emotional and physical illnesses. Shame talks in our sleep, and guilt talks in our waking moments, telling us we are powerless and bad. Once Lois discovered that shame and guilt were responsible for her anxiety, depression, and life-threatening illnesses, she healed from childhood traumas and 30 yrs. of migraine headaches. She shepherds others out of a crisis, seeking success, or spiritual growth with her knowledge of how to identify, release, and avoid shame and guilt. Lois has the uncanny ability for new knowledge. She helped develop one of the first Kidney Hemodialysis Units in the country and other firsts. She authored Soul Mirror Cards and three books. Lois aspires to use the magic of film to make shame and guilt visual. Her documentary series, “I’m Good”, will illustrate the shame/guilt dangers and how to avoid them. As soon as Lois moved to Sedona, Arizona, she began to write Light Language Poetry. Her writings from spirit can be read and re-read. Each time the reader receives different feelings and understandings of life and love. She continues today to write with love and light from her spirit. With Light Language and the knowledge of shame guilt, we can change the shame/guilt system to live in prosperity, solve mental health crises, and regain our evolutionary joyful spirit.
