DJ Townsend has had his fair share of adversity over the last few years of his life. Over the last five years, DJ has had a total of three knee surgeries, struggling with his physical health throughout his basketball career. Yet, he has learned to praise God in the good and the bad of everything he has gone through! Two years ago, Ethan Clouser had the opportunity to play Division I basketball, yet chose instead to pursue God's call for his life in ministry. Since then, Ethan has done some pretty cool stuff, going to Bible school, studying theology in the United Kingdom, and getting married! Ethan is a fellow Christian influencer on Tik Tok and Youtube, hosting his own podcast: The Gen Z Theology podcast. Caleb and Ethan talk about everything faith, sports, and allowing God to grow you each day. Especially on the topic of being obsessed with the Bible!

A big reason that I wanted to bring Carter onto the podcast is because I love his testimony and see God so evidently in his life! Carter Closson is a Quarterback at Colorado State University Pueblo, a university that has an awesome program, winning the Division 2 national football championship in 2014. Carter started off as a walk on and eventually earned a scholarship to play at CSU where he is a leader for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Carter and Caleb talk about striving to live a life that please God, and not people. Galatians 1:10 says "Am I now living to please man? Or am I living to please God? If I were still living to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ".

Ever since Micah and Caleb met at FCA camp, they have made an effort to hold each other accountable in their friendship and walk with Christ. This means holding your friends to a higher standard whenever you are being conscious of what you watch, what thoughts you're allowing into your brain, and who you're hanging out with. Caleb and Micah open up about how they handle sexual sin as men, and what they do to combat this sin through community, prayer, and saturating God's Word in their hearts. The biggest compliment that I would give RJ (and this is a big reason I wanted to bring him on the podcast) is that he displays amazing leadership skills. He shares the gospel well, loves people greatly, and genuinely loves Jesus! Jackson and Haley Shaw had their first baby together 7 months ago! During Banks birth, he had many health complications that were outside of their control. During this time, Jackson and Haley chose to trust God and praise him no matter the outcome. Thankfully, Banks is now happy and healthy and thriving with his mom and dad! Willie Spears is a world renowned speaker, author, and former extremely successful football coach and player! - Willie Spears played football at Northwestern Oklahoma State University where he earned a degree in Mass Communications and was a member of the 1999 NAIA National Championship football team. - He earned his Master's degree in education from Troy University. - He has written 14 books - And he served in education and coaching for twenty years before he decided to begin his journey on the Willie Spears experience where he now public speaks professionally and preaches the gospel as his living. Willie was our speaker this past year at Arkansas FCA camp, and talked heavily about allowing God to make your decisions for you! Caleb and Willie talk everything faith, decisions, and wisdom from Christ. If you struggle in decision making, Willie's best piece of advice is to allow God to make those decisions for you! Will Worthey has an extremely powerful and encouraging testimony, and I’m ready to share it with everyone! Will grew up in Memphis, Tennessee and then moved to Bentonville, Arkansas in high school. One day, Will was told he was invited to a recruiting camp for basketball at John Brown University. The camp was actually an FCA camp, and Will made the decision to accept Jesus at that camp! I am excited to have Hudson back on the podcast and to have one of our best friends Caleb Hewitt on the podcast! Caleb plans to go into ministry and impact people with this life. I am super pumped to welcome Colby Boyd onto the podcast! Colby is the Students Director at Central Baptist Church in Paragould where he disciples 7th-12th grade students and guides them on how to walk with Jesus each day. He also preaches each week on Wednesday nights. Colby has a very relatable testimony and gives his best piece of advice on how to apply the Bible and what we see in God’s Word to our every day lives. Colby also gives his best piece of advice to any young person who wants to pursue Jesus and take the steps to growing each day in their spiritual walk with the Lord.
