We cover a small piece of his rise to superstardom, as well as, small details/stories that helped mold him into the Hall of Famer that he turned out to be. We want to send his loved ones our heartfelt condolences and our most sincere prayers. Keith was and always will be one of the most patriotic performers to grace our stages. After delay, we were able to get together so Jordan could introduce the CMC family to the Avett Brothers. The North Carolina based, four piece band has been around for over twenty years. This country adjacent band is relatively unknown by most country music fans, it’s time to change that! If you enjoy clever lyrics and a variety of rythyms, you will love these guys! Through inclement weather, sickness, busy lives, etc. we were finally able to sit down together and discuss a different style of artist. Zach Williams is a gospel singer from Arkansas. He overcame many personal battles through Christ and now spreads his testimony through his beautiful music. Due to the long layoff we had plenty to discuss before and throughout the show. We were able to get together through all of life’s obstacles. We tried a new type of episode this week and discussed the history and a few statistics of the Grand Ole Opry. A man with Zach’s look and voice seems like a combination Nashville has seen before, but we’ve never seen a talent like this. Only in his early 20’s, his voice is extremely polished. We finally got back together in spite of our busy schedules. The plan was Pilgrimage Festival review and then an album review. All bets were off when Bradley Gaskin graced us with a phone call. Bradley told us a story about a moment at the Grand Ole Opry that included Vince Gill. We had a fantastic conversation that I will not spoil here!
