Oonops is back with the second episode of his new podcast which is called »Wax Talk'«. It's about anecdotes and background stories of artists, musicians or labels who joined him for his (last or future) vinyl shows here on Brooklyn Radio or on his releases on Agogo Records. It's not your average interview podcast, it's a little wordplay to get behind the curtain, to find deeper conversation topics and to create real stories. His guests on this episode are DJ and producer Smoove (Smoove & Turrell / Wack Records) from Newcastle (UK) and Matt from the fantastic WeWantSounds label from Paris (France).

»Wax Talk'« is about anecdotes and background stories of artists, musicians or labels who joined me for my (last or future) vinyl shows on Brooklyn Radio or my releases on Agogo Records. It's not your average interview podcast, it's a little wordplay to get behind the curtain, to find deeper conversation topics and to create real stories. But let's start with the idea about »Wax Talk'«: We've got three blocks of words. Each block has it's own topic and is filled with six different fitting words to it. The first block is »Music« and the words in it for this episode are "45s. Pitch. Vinyl. Back To Back. Rewind. and Hip Hop." The second block is called »Statements« and filled with the following words: "Kindred Spirit. Life. Bliss. Future. Love. Last words." The third and last block is about »feelings and characteristics« and contains the following words: "Weird. Selfish. Lucky. Selfless. Interested. Grateful." Now it's time to pick up one word from each block and combine them to one little story. My guests on this episode are DJ and producer duo Slick Walk from Berlin, Mike Clay from Montreal and King Most from San Francisco. You're wondering what these artists have in common?
